how do u take 1 of celts big 3 out of game on bs fouls  its a joke. so wat was pierce doin on lebron that lebron wasnt doin to pierce..  Pierce 6 fouls lebron 1

Whatever helps you sleep better at night! Maybe it should have been a sign that this Boston team is aging/slowing down and usually a step late on rotations when the Sixers took them to 7 games

Yeah, because Pierce and Lebron are so comparable athletically

there was no fix in the game tonight. 

rondo got hit in the head after he let go of the ball and it was a continuation of the block attempt, grazing his head. rondo's reaction appeared it *may* have been legit but ref's were most likely scoping the next play on the ball. 

the wade drive was also legit. KG fouled him first before wade kicked his knee out and it didn't appear intentional at all.

Even lebron admitted in an interview that physically pierce is very strong and when he always plays good defense against star players. You are a true idiot....

His strength is the reason why he is able to guard lebron so well, take of your heat goggles and you will see james not get called for the same BS pierce is getting called for.

Yes, I agree that Pierce has good defense when Lebron is backing him down. But, when Lebron is attacking the basket there isn't much strength can do for Pierce to make up for how much slower and more unathletic he is than Lebron. So what are you going to do? Give up a gimme layup or send a guy to the line for 2 ft's?

This is not a discussion about who is the better defender, watch James play defense on pierce, especially when he is about to get the ball in the post, he gets away with a lot of pushes/pulls. Pierce doesnt get away with that stuff as much.

I am biased as a Heat fan and you are biased as a Heat hater so obviously this isn't a very rational argument as our opinions are obviously going to differ. Pierce can't move his feet as well as he used to....especially now with his knees problems. Why do you think he fouled out in game 7 of sixers series and this game? There is a reason

Heat hater? lol got nothing against the heat, just dont like it when a team wins thanks to officiating. Anyways this argument is going nowhere, whats done is done, we ll see what happens in boston.

i dont think a any 1 is bein heat haters if the same thing happens tomorow night i will talk the same shit but no other team in league gets these calls so wont have to worry about it

I agree, and I think Celts win 1 out of 2 at home. I hate betting against my team, but i also like making money so i'll probably be on Celts game 3, but at the same time cheering for my team. I have no problem with you guys, but the crying about refs gets old after a while. You all said the same thing after every Pacers game and after game 1 of this series. You magnify every call that goes the Heats way, but choose to ignore every call that goes the Celtics way. I thought this site was to help each other make money? Not to clutter the forum with bullshit about refs and venting because a certain team won

It's been like this since I started watching in the 80s. The more popular teams always get more calls. Little guy can win but he's always going to get less chances from the refs; it's not new I'm always surprised when people post these threads after the games. 
Don't want to take away the suspense but tomorrow if Durant drives he'll get calls every time. The Spurs may still win because they're better but the Thunder will be given plenty of opportunities to win and make it a series.   


Except the Boston Celtics are not supposed to be the little guy.  They are one of the most storied franchises in sports history.  You would think they would deserve more respect.  Especially with 3 maybe even 4 future hall of famers on the team.  But NBA seems set on helping Bron and company get the finals.

And I don't want to hear Lebron was more aggressive because that is garbage.  He was given touch foul after touch foul in the 4th and overtime.  He was even shying away from the rim late in the 4th and in OT and still getting touch calls.  Rondo was just as aggressive if not more than bron this game and received half of the ft's bron did along with obvious fouls committed against him.  I had no side in this game just making observation.  I wish officials weren't even an issue.  I often have heard you know officials are good when you don't notice them.  When one team shoots 50 fts compared to 30 its hard not to notice

i hear what ur sayin but i bet u cant name 1 call that truly went the celtics way 2nite, actually im sorry 1 i thot rondo got 1  gift foul all night but name 1 other foul where u thot what thats a foul there was none.  I can count out at least 10 where the heat got the calls

I said all along that yes it was a missed call. It should have been a foul. Does it mean the refs wanted Miami to win? No. Would it have guaranteed Boston would have won? No. It was a missed call that was obvious on the replays, but there are hundreds of fouls missed each game if you go back and get picky. Yes, it was bad timing, but Boston had plenty of other chances to win the game and they didn't get it done.  This isn't the first game there has been a missed call....you all need to stop crying about the past. YOu can't change anything by bitching repeatedly about it. I don't know if you makes you guys feel better about the Heat winning or what....

My favorite call in the game.  Late 2nd half call.  Rondo and Bron going for a loose ball Rondo falls on the ball first, Lebron falls on Rondo's back from behind.  Doc Rivers clapping thinking loose ball foul on bron. Wrong! foul on Rondo for letting bron fall on his back.  Of course heat in the penalty Bron shoots two for falling on top of Rondo! Loved that call too!

the fact of the matter is that call cannot b missed at that stage of game and the fact that it was missed they shoulda called offdensive on wade for kick. wateva ur right it is wat it is im not a hater but as a nba fan it makes me sick for a team to fight their hearts out on road and get sold short by refs and ur right who knows if celts go on to win but 2 pt lead is alot different than down 2.  But like u said its ova good luck rest of way

I give the Heat credit for not laying down when they got down big.  But you have to admit the foul and FT discrepancy in this game were both huge and aided big time in Heat coming back and holding a small lead.  It's not just one missed call either.  It's missed call after missed call and only favoring one side.  I don't even have a horse in the race and it's painful to watch but I love NBA so I'll keep watching.  Just hope some of these officials are held accountable one day.

deezy i agree these refs have to b held accountable.  the fans wana see the players decide games not officials and who wants to watch lebron shoot 24 foul shots unless ur a heat fan. but im out catch up tomorow good luck on every1s plays
