compared to what he's done to all the covers readers in the previous year, he's just 'dabbling' now

he used to run a daily thread for NBA and 3-4 threads a week for mlb, and won in both... it was pretty much a fulltime job, for which he mainly got bitching and whining on any breakeven or losing day lol

ya just checked football forum and he posted a play on MNF, nice to see him back, not that your chopped liver!! I appreciate all you do tin. Im a recently retired baseball player and now a volunteer assistant at a division 1 baseball program so i appreciate the help cause the money has been a big help

No I remember use to tail him on occasion and UNC in college bball, along with my own bets I did pretty well for a few years, I think the books put these guys in here to harass the people that are winning on a consistent basis, why do you think i NEVER answer the question: TIN what book do you use???

I joined covers in 2009 but ive beenfollowing this site for about 7 or 8 years now, just never knew about the handicapping forum before like 2008, always use to read just the game threads, lol I just wasnt thinking i guess, but he is by far THE BEST and most consistent guy on here that I know of anyway...

It's not a big surprise that a winning poster gets so much hate on the boards @ Covers. It happens anytime a player shows the ability to WIN over an extended period of time.

 

Keep in mind the trolls that are following these forums have an invested interest one way or another. They are either not able to cap there own picks, so they bounce around on all of the threads with the most activity, hoping to get lucky and usually are gambling with money they don't have. There are only so many stories they can tell their booky as to why they can't pay this week, so they vent on these boards.

 

Or they are associates of the variousonline books and they will work over a "hot capper" until they decide to leave. Afterall they don't need to have accounts grow from players that don't know what the fuck they are doing. It's smart business practice, these guys are not stupid.

 

Tin I don't how you do it. Your overworked and under payed. The game of gambling isn't for the meek and mild.  They just keep recycling trash, as soon as one burns out there are two more waiting in the wings.

True shu, you are right on all accounts, doesnt bother me to put in a couple of hrs a night to make some extra cash , Honestly in general I dont need it but work has been scarce the past 2 years and it has come in handy. Plus it keeps the wife happy..lol
