Moneyshot... i wasn't talking about you, i don't think... see lots of people talking about "value" on Orlando ML...
Scal... this is what i was originally thinking, too... i was thinking the fact that Boston doesn't want to play a game 5 in Orlando really isn't much of an angle in favor of Boston... that kind of motivation doesn't win NBA playoff games... however, what DOES favor Boston, is the fact that Orlando does NOT want to go back to Orlando for a game 5...
don't laugh... i'm totally serious... think about it... we've seen Orlando's body language... they KNOW they are not winning this series... this shit is miserable for them... they are like a fighter who gets thrown into the ring with a maniac, gets their ass totally kicked... and then his manager sets up an immediate rematch... gets his ass kicked again... immediate rematch... kicked again... rematch... FUCK! ![]()
you really think Orlando wants ANOTHER rematch? they are getting their asses beat down, and this team did not come into this series hoping to put on a good showing... they were thinking Title all the way, and that dream is FLUSHED... it's gone!
so what is this great motivation to win tonight? pride? please! they haven't shown it yet, and they didn't come into this for pride... pride is what you get from the Charlotte Bobcats or Portland Trailblazers... not the Orlando Magic...
what else? so they can, instead of getting swept... go home and get pummeled again in front of their home fans?
don't try to tell me this team believes they can still win... i know how the NBA works... i say it every year... at some point in a series it becomes 100% clear to both teams that one team is better than the other... once that happens the series is OVER...
that happened early in game 2 of this series... and the Orlando Magic would have to be masochists to want to put themselves and their fans through even 1 more game of this brutality...
