People bet over in the Sac Atl game yesterday and needed OT and they didnt get it......Some other people bet under in the second half under today and they get OT.....

Some people bet under in the SAC game yesterday and didnt want OT and didnt get it......

Today, the want OT and they get it.....

Betting is FULL off randomness.FULL OF IT.....

Save your money, take your GF out to dinner, buy yourself a nice shirt, by your parents a gift..instead of putting your money to chance......

agreed...nba is randomness its red or black...capping has very little impact on probability

Yesterday people were screaming that Andre Iguodola didnt dunk the ball when the spread was 4.......on another day he dunks that....

Suns dont down down 4 with 20 secs left and the spread is 4....

Its all randomness......

Unless you are that Walters bloke who has inside info and people on the take, then u r no hope....

U will get on good win streaks, bad streaks, but at the end of the day, in the long term u WILL LOSE. OTHERWISE VEGAS IS NOT in business.......

How about BET ON THE RIGHT SIDE more often and you will win in the long run.  Quit betting on losers and we wont see you make posts liek this.

In the Billy Walters interview this past Sunday on '60 Minutes', they didn't mention that NBA was part of his betting sports.

Or baseball, and hockey.

After the Donahue scandal, some people just wont risk their money in this league.

but it's more to do with the fact that we are dealing with a drug here and I put my hand up first and admit that I'm mentally weak when it comes to this type of drug "gambling" I understand and know it gets you nowhere but I have alot of trouble stopping myself. I suspect it's the same for alot of you other people, it's really such a shame that gambling has become a critical asset to the Australian government (not sure about the other countries) but the ironical part of it all is they advertize this shit so freely and constantly like never before yet put all the laws in place awaiting for those addicts to break them so they can cash in yet again.

Walters doesnt have people on the take... he just bets on the right side of games.

alcohol is the same issue and younger generation are being brought up on it. If they can stop the advertising then it becomes unkown and not inserted in our brains

I used to bet very heavily, particularly on my local aussie sports which are completely different to the American sports in every way......

I am on this forum cause i get a real kick out of watching human behaviour when money and chance / luck bad luck is involved....

The more older u grow and wiser as they say, the more u realise to its core that this game is luck, no difefrent to casino, just branded differently

i actually i am dooing  good  up big , but the last 4 days  have been bad today i will probably lose  just like 3 $ 2-2 cause the juce today was a very lite day , but u  r right it it alot of random luck , teams can just not want too play

If you have discipline (something very hard to come by, especially after winning big) and a very good understanding for the game, than you can win...but you will only win when you realize that you are NOT going to win everygame.  There will be bad beats and there will be lucky wins...but at the end of the day if you know the game and really study it and watch everyday..than you can most def win in the nba.. I disagree that it is chance.  Everygame has its own story.  miami has been playing bad lately and hawks have been playing great...hawks +the points would have been a logical and great play tonite.

Look, no one here can deny that this is majority luck......no one can......

Speak to CM a well respected capper and he will tell u overall he has had unbelievable luck this season....He has acknowoledged this to me.....
