The President is Attending

The president is expected to attend game 3 between the home team Knicks and the visiting Spurs.  Because of heightened security they decided to cancel the watch party outside of the arena.  I can just imagine how many disappointed Knicks fans are with this announcement.  He should have let the fans of New York enjoy this historic moment and stay home.  What will happen if the Knicks lose?  Will they blame him for coming?

 There are many watch parties fans can attend. They can go to Central Park, Brooklyn Bowl, or Hudson Yards.

And he was talking about missing his son's wedding but can come to a ball game? 

He said he was busy with something on that day. 

And conveniently, the shooting outside of the White House occurred on the same day as Don Jr's wedding.  He REALLY wants that $1 billion for the ball room. Just sayin'.

When I first heard he will be attending I thought it was pretty cool.

However, since the announcement they’ve also indicated TSA screening will be present and watch parties outside of the arena will be disallowed. 

I just think it takes away the excitement from a New York fan base that has been waiting decades for this. 

It is also now a topic on sports talk shows and takes away from a pivotal game 3.
