This is where the problem lies ... they are old to begin with and I am sure Houston will want Stuckey, Maxiell, Amir Johnson, Afllalo, etc. They could let Afflalo go, but if they let Stuckey or Maxiell go that would be bad news for an old team!

Them being old is exactly why I think it will be a good idea. The Pistons know they are old and need to win now and not look towards the future. And who knows what they will have to give up...it may not be much...i.e. Camby.

i dunno, t-mac shouldn't lose faith - houston whent on that incredible run - even without yao they did well - t-mac should definitely try to win one with houston and with yao back next season houston has a good chance. I think they would have beaten utah in that series had yao not been injured.
But Detroit in my opinion would have a much better chance with t-mac in the line up.

from my understanding thestons wanted either melo or t-mac. melo fell through, i think it was chauncey and tayshaun for melo or something like that. dont quote me. mac would be a similar deal. stons are happy with maxy and amir as far as young front court players, thus makin sheed and dice stick. prince becomes expendable due to mac sliding in the 3 spot alongside rip and stuckey in the backcourt. afflalo is the swing of the set playing backup 2/3 in the second five, lindseys really old but can continue to play 2nd fiddle with stuckey playin' so well in the playoffs during a rookie year.

dont quote me but thats what i got from the detroit free press as well as the detroit news. that was fresh off the series loss to bos6ton and before the draft. dont know wtf was up when they let dj white go, i would have loved to see him in motown. but, what the fuck ever, they'll be tuff if they dont make any moves at all imo. i hope the old mfs stay together forever, i likem jus how they are. but i know that wont happen.. .......its still a buisness.
