Alot of good cappers on Spurs due to the line movement. And more people coming out the wood works on Spurs. Scrap all of that - does any of these cats realize Stern has sent his henchman to make a hit out on the Spurs today. Scott Foster is Miami's 6th player on the hardwood. Callahan the 7th. That's pretty tough to beat.

You sir, are one of the most intelligent members this forum has to offer.  Good call on the 7 vs 5 matchup - The players that bet with their minds and not their hearts will be only winners in the end.

Too many people and opinions can cloud your vision.  Keep to yourself - keep doing what you are doing, you got a good thing going.  You do not need anybody around here to make a play or solidify it for that matter.  You made your decision the second you saw Scott Foster and Mike Callahan on the ref assignments.

you're absolutely correct. I got swayed in game 3. Initially had Spurs but whent the opposite reading the stats about game 3 winners 92% of the times wins the finals. Those sort of loses stings & stays with you the most. But nothing like wiping that bad taste out of your mouth w/ our massive profits today

Nothing like confidently deciding plays based on refs alone, backing that confidence with all your cash & justifying & satisfying it with a win. Great friggin day

This next game is tricky. Either Spurs bounces back as most likely expected by the majority after a loss since they are also as good after a loss & proved it in game 3. Or Miami surprises everybody steals game 5, winning 2 on Spurs territory & heads back to Miami up 3-2 w/ momentum & home court - in wich case most likely winnning this series in 6 games.

I think If Spurs takes game 5 & heads into Miami up 3-2 Miami then takes game 6 & a game 7 will be played where Miami & Stern get the result that was planned from the beginning - a Miami Heat 2pete.

I'm leaning Spurs in game 5 atm. Will wait for ref assignment. So far the refs stats have determined the winner.

Game 1: Refs 64% for Road dogs. Spurs wins.
Game 2: Refs 63% for home fave. Miami wins.
Game 3: Refs 55% for home fave. Spurs wins.
Game 4: Refs 62% for road dog. Miami wins.
Game 5??

I think the next game is for SA.Its not only the refs:it's a battle between coaches.The strategy that has led a team to win a game willl be tear apart the next...pop won t let miami win without a PF in the field again.

Based on how i am making my deciding plays i am leaning Spurs atm but just a thought about the line for game 5:

let's see.....Spurs blow out Miami in game 3 as 2 pt faves and come back as a mere 1.5 fave, wich dwindled to 1 and ultimately to home dogs?!?! Bad Spot to take Spurs there based on the line alone. Spurs lose game 4 and now the game is a PK!?!? Wouldn't you think w/ Spurs record after a loss that they would bounce back big here and be at the very least 1 pt faves? Basing it on the line alone i would have to lean Miami.

Again, have to wait for ref assignment
