I have Mayo at 3-1 which you know,I think Mayo has the #s to win it,but Rose has ESPN pushing him,so Im counting my 50 gone, but for most of year I thought it was an easy 150,congrats on Rose bet.
Thanks but how in the world can you say Mayo has better numbers? Go back into your other thread. Mayo has 1.5 pts more and Rose has 3 full assists more. Rose even has the slight rebounding edge. There is not one possible argument for Mayo, and that includes stats.

Well never was I comparing their stats, but if you what some, total points OJ=1516/Rose=1361,Rose 22% on 3s,Rose should have more assists playing the point,3 more a game.Steals go to Mayo 91-68,18.5 ppg for Mayo,Rose 16.8 ppg.
Im guessing you didnt read what I wrote,I said he had the #s to win it,not saying anything about any other player, but Rose has the backing of the Media.
And imo the stats are not that far off,and if you dont see that it doesnt matter as what we think will not get either the award.

Thats about what I was saying,Rose wins it,but at the middle of the year Mayo #s were much better, than he had a big drop off, that was the point I was making. His shooting went down 5 points a game and 5% in sec half of season.
Thats when I knew he was going to lose it,plus Rose came on in the sec, half.

OK, that's true. Rose definitely got better. Even just in these last couple weeks. I think part of it was he is sort of "shy", for lack of a better word, and was too unselfish as a rookie. He just has to decide to be more assertive, like today.

Did you see that interview at end of game?Talk about a fish out of water, lol he looked nervous.
That's just the way he is. Very unassuming, just a quiet type. Doesn't have the "personality" that a lot of NBA'rs have. Kinda refreshing really. Sure didn't look nervous on the court when it counted though.
