I never said I didn't like OKC-5. I was referring to the current line. My books didn't even post NBA lines for today's games until last night so good for u for having a book who offered a line in September some how.

Regardless of outcome, always appreciate the post Scal!
I'll tell you one thing, I wish the absolute worst on the Rockets this season. Pathetic defensive performance. Hopefully see Harden tear an ACL or something this year.

pretty stiff wishing an acl on one the games most enjoyable to watch (well on O). if it wasn't for harden the rockets would have been smashed. but they D proved very costly. roll over harder rockets. pathetic

Gonna be betting the NBA very rarely this year guys.
The proof is in the pudding right here. A rebuilding laker team is going to take this down in a game the Rockets could have pulled away in several times.
I don't need to deal with this Wild West of betting. Too much stres and uncertainty. It is the hardest sport to bet.disgusting outright loss here. Unacceptable.
What are you talking about? Lakers outplayed them and out hustled them. Rockets will have a ton off bad losses because of the style of ball they play.

Smart man Scal, the NBA is the worst sport to wager on. Most corrupt sport there is. Especially the national TV games. Cavs covered and then 3 straight dogs cover and 2 of them win outright.
They gotta have these Mickey mouse upsets before giving up free money like the Warriors on Friday

the OKC line was available for entire month of September at 5Dimes.
with the condescending way you post, I would think a "sharp" like you would have 5Dimes as one of his main outs.

what a weak minded BUM .. you spent all that time write your whole angle about D'Antoni being a genius makes it even funnier, and now that you're blaming the refs ... stop betting ALTOGETHER and GTFO Covers ... oh wait, you can't ... you love hearing yourself talk too much
Nah, he act does well on this site. You lost your $11 bet tailing Scal and now are bitter about it.

Well folks, now we have a troll here who posts several rolling heads saying I blamed the refs.
I'd love for him to come back and quote me telling me where I blamed refs.
Trolls literally don't even read threads. They just assume you'll B and moan about refs when I never said a word about them. Then
Ya see folks, this is what you get for writing up angles. And the angle was here. BUT dont come up with creative angle for the first game of the year, of which no metrics exist.
How the hell else would you bet the game??? On how many points Nick Young averaged last year and Luke Walton's assistant coaching experience???

It's not even about this game or me winning a game and losing one. The NBA is a bankroll buster.
Look at the Nets Celtics tonight. Celtics are over the number for 3 quarters 118-100 with 4 minutes and the final is 122-117. Give me a fu***** break.
Didn't take the game but when I saw that it scared the crap out of me that I was laying 6 with two road teams, because if a team that is going to contend for the east crown can't hold a cover with an 18 pt lead late against the projected worst EC team, who can???

it's one game, I had them also (on my own), they looked solid for much of it but weren't exactly hustling much in the 4th, kind of sloppy, I knew neither would play defense, just thought Rockets had the more experienced scorers, they lost, so what
foots tomorrow
Exactly you don't need this no hustle trash. You don't get that with UCF. You don't get that with Temple. Please. This is a joke. Ruined the night. Lakers taken it down outright. That's enough of a message right there.

Do not stop posting on here! You are one of the best cappers on here, if not the best!!
Your reasoning behind the bets is SPOT ON. You were spot on with todays bet, even tho it lost. The 7 seconds or less factor was huge, unfortunately its just early on in the season, and we didn't know the rockets defense was this bad.
You have made us all a lot of money in the past, please don't stop posting bro.
Whenever you feel a pick please share will tail you win or lose you are the man!
And don't listen to the trolls... they obviously can't handle a loss would like to see them do better

you still the man scal I would tail you with my last dollar keep them coming
Lol. Thanks Risk.
Arx, I just want to clarify, I will always post here. It's just the problem I have with the NBA. The margins of error are far too thin to be profitable long-term.
I scrape by by the hair on my chin in the Thunder game in the absolute final second and in this game the Lakers just took control and ran with it in the 4th 30-18.
The Nets can score 18 in a quarter. Don't die on me at the absolute most crucial moment. Then the Warriors loss by thirty. 30!! I mean 3 is ok. But 30! Didn't even bet it but marveled at the inepetitude AT HOME! The league is for lunatic bettors. Scaling back my picks in the NBA. Too much bankroll to give back after earning it through CFB /NFL. I can't say it enough: you don't know when these guys will play 4 quarters or even show up for one of the 4 or worst of all, take off a quarter and blow up the game. See the Celtics and Rockets tonight. It's a joke. Not complaining about the loss but the quality of the competitiveness where angles matter little. You are subject to the mercy of their whims. Play now? play later? Who knows when they'll show up?

The NBA overall is almost unwatchable, teams can go such long stretches not only without scoring but not even being able to run a solid play on offense. I watched last 3-4 minutes of Minny/Memphis and it was hard to believe that was two pro teams.
Don’t tell me the law. Tell me the judge.

I see a Espn scroll message before I put the bet in that says at the beginning of 2015, Rudy happy said "Welcome to Hell" to George Karl!
Now how the hell am I going to take that f'n team? That guy is still on the team! My reward for that? They win by 19...on the road.
Would love to take the Kings and the 8.5 tonight too opening the new arena. Arena angles are very strong. Who's it against? The absolute WORST possible team: the Spurs.
Thanks NBA: F the Kings over in their 'turn the page to new hope' arena by putting San Antonio as Game 1 there. Real considerate.

I also wanted to look up the Kings over the Suns.
Didn't put a dime on it. Know why?

Scal, I completely agree. I think basketball is kinda a crap shoot in general, but NBA in particular is ridiculous. I'm always amazed at how less reliable it is than football, probably because of the potential for ridiculous garbage time and the whole intentional foul game at the end.

Compared to college football which is an absolute pleasure to watch, the NBA is a disgrace in terms of viewing.
And the Knicks look worse than ever. My god. I was squirming through all 4 quarters. Not jumping ship after one game but my god, show the Cavs up for more than the first 3 minutes!
