Agree that Howard leaving is going to make them a much better offensive team, but man oh man will they be horrific on D.
They were horrific with him last year, Howard lost some of his athletic abilities over the past couple years as his body has deteriorated. His has been beat up, NBA refs do not know how to legislated big men. I seen it with Yao and Shaq as well. Players no longer fear Howard in the paint, you will see it Atlanta this year. Plus, I wouldn't be surprised if Howard constant drama follows him their as well.

I punch the Rockets at -6.5 last night, even before I came across this thread. The public play makes me somewhat nervous, I usually do not bet on the hometown team, but I couldn't resist for many of the reasons stated. Plus, Im just curious to see how this guys open the season, last year the Rockets started out flat from the begining and hung with them throughout the whole season. Alot that could be attributed to locker room issues that have since been resolved.

Don't worry about it being a public play. Bama is covering MONSTER spreads and is the most bet team in college football by squares.
If the game is capped correctly, squares don't matter. Square/Sharp analysis is used for SHORTCUT CAPPING only (which is more about action then it is about winning).
Dub- Good to hear from a Laker back fading his team at home getting a chunk of spread.
