Hey everyone, been a while since I've posted the system along with an update. First of all, I just wanted to apologize for my extended absence. Unfortunately, the only time I have available to manage the system and update it daily is at work, and that put me behind for the period of time that I did post daily. Therefore, from now on I will only post on days with a shorter slate of games or weekends where I have a lot of extra time. The five games today, for instance, took me over an hour to compile statistics so it's very time consuming.
The past system pulled data from the following:
1) Referee O/U record for game's line range
2) Referee average score per game
3) Team O/U record for game's line range on road or at home
The new system includes those, as well as:
1) Referee O/U record for every game
2) Team O/U record for every game on road or at home
3) Team O/U record for last 5 games overall
4) Team O/U record for last 5 games within game's line range on road or at home
Each of the numbers are compiled and multiplied based on importance. The last 5 games within the game's line range carry the most importance and will have the largest multiplier. In the end, I have 4 separate numbers and they get added up. If all 4 numbers are in agreement (all positive or all negative) then it becomes a definite play. The number to the side of each game is the added up number and provides an accurate power ranking and confidence meter for the game.
The last run of the system lasted a month and we were hitting about 60% of the plays, so I'm hoping to sustain that mark for the remainder of the season. Tail with caution the first few days and see where the system takes us!
