Now that the NBA playoffs are coming to a close. I feel it's in good time to express my concern for the future of NBA playoff basketball. I've never been "blame the ref" guy or "the league is fixed" guy. However, at this point in time, I have to admit to myself that the NBA officiating has become far too much a part of the product. For the past couple of years this trend has worsened, and now you can't even touch another player without a whistle being called. It's frustrating, it penalizes players, and it's almost unwatchable and last night was the straw that broke the camels back. I don't want to get into specifics, if you have been watching, then you know. This is NOT how the nba post-season is meant to be played. I am now concerned about the future of this game I love. If this trend continues I just cannot see how people will continue to invest their time into an inconsistent yet consistently bad product that has become the NBA playoffs due to officiating. Daniel Stern, whom I consider the best commissioner in sports has failed to deal with this issue, and I'm not sure will. So my questions are, do you also see the trend that I am seeing? Will you continue to invest as much time into NBA playoff basketball if this trend continues?
