Pelicans +240, and Clips +135.

With Zion being out, I can see the Pelicans pushing the pace and jacking up 3 after 3. If they are falling, Pels pull away late and win.

Clips- Lakers have AD, Lebron, and a bunch of scrubs. With a couple of scrubs being game time decisions, I will take the Clips and hope that the Lakers wear down in the 2nd half.

Your NBA basketball breakdown really isn’t that good I see. 

1. The Raptors have played an entire NBA season together and they were actually pretty good without Number 2. 

NBA player Van fleet said in an interview that the team seems happier playing without number 2 because of the ball movement. 

2. This is the Pelicans first time playing together. A bunch of new faces and Lonzo Ball missed majority of the year last year and so did Brandon Ingram with Blood clots. How efficient will they be coming off so many missed games. And no Zion!! I honestly don’t see how they get enough points up to stay within 10. They are small inside with no true center,  so I see them getting out rebounded easily. Siakam will prove to be too much for the pelicans with no AD. The Raptors are long and as we seen in the playoffs they have a really good head coach.

And yes the pelicans can shoot 3 after 3 but at the end of the day you have to make those 3s. 

Who besides JJ can consistently take and make 3s?? Jrue ? Or Ball? The Raptors defense is for real. I don’t think Ball can be a good PG in the half court and I think the Raptors will slow this game down and force the pels to play in the half court .
