I think this Paul Lynde pic was from a Bewitched episode where he played Uncle Arthur.

this is mini roulette..13 numbers..i watched many spins..sometimes..i stay online playin this..whole day..it never hits 8 times in a row..even if there is a chance..like you say..but its remote..to hit 8 times or more..then i double my bet..so if i lost 20..then i bet another 20..if lose..i bet 40..80..and so on..do you understand now?
All your doing is martingale-ing after the 7th hit in a row because you believe somehow the chance of it hitting the same color again is a lot less. Thats a complete fallacy.
Yes the likely hood of 7, 8,9, 10 etc hits in rows happen is very unlikely. But every spin has exactly the same chance of hitting black/red and no it not exactly 50% because of the zeros. The two are not correlated. Thats the real math. You may think they are connected but they are not.
Its like the difference between median and mean.

Listen to HALLINGGOL he/she is correct. Let me add more to this failed system. If you do the double or nothing (Martingale) system casinos will usually put a cap (max) wager limit to outside wagers such as red/black. So if you've escaladed to 8 in a row (pending on your starting wager) you are going to be capped out trying to get back your original wager thus you stand to lose your ass. If they didn't put max wagers on roulette a millionare could go in there and slowly nip away the house profits. It would be boring to them but none-the-less profitable. Maybe this act was done years back with no cap and the house took a hit. So they implied the cap rule. You will never beat the house's bankroll, never. I know this because I did it myself with little damage. My starting wager was $5. This was at A/C and after 5 losses I just could feel the atmosphere around me that I was doomed, the look by the pit boss was intimidating. I pulled out, never again.
Great thread by the way................![]()
