Kobe and LeBron are great players. LBJ is not. Does it make Kobe better than LeBron because he has been in the league longer and played 2nd fiddle to a future hall of famer?? No. But it does make Kobe a champ, while LBJ is not.
The arguments are silly and a big waste of time. The comparisons get old and are impossible to determine who's better than who. Jordan never won without Pippen. Kobe has never won without Shaq. Will Mo Williams be enough to put LeBron over? Doubt it.
I wouldn't put Championships as an end all be all to determine greatness. Me either, but it does determine who is a champion and who is not Let their entire careers play out then look back and decide whether they are one of the greatest or not. True, but i was talking to the people who thought LBJ was the greatest already.
