Updated December Record: 55-37-3 (59.8%) (+66.3 Units) 1 unit: 0-0 2 unit: 1-2 3 unit: 16-14-1 4 unit: 20-10-2 5 unit: 15-10 >5 units: 1-0 Yesterday: could've been a much better night but Clippers come all the way back from 19 down just to clip me by a half point. Major tease. Record dropped below 60% for the first time this year. Need a bounce back tonight to get back over that 60% mark.
Saturday plays:
5 units - Oklahoma City -4 @ Houston Really isn't a single trend as to why I like this game, just a situational play. OKC have lost 2 straight and have had some time to stew over those losses while Houston played a tough game last night in San Antonio. I don't see anyway OkC loses 3 straight, especially with Houston on a B2B. The trends say OKC has struggled in Houston and Houston plays very well at home but I like this situation for OKC so I'm taking them as the small road favorites.

@shrimpy totally blanked on that one. OKC has then lost 2 of 3 but played rather poorly in all 3 games needing to turn it on late against Dallas just to make OT.

^its quite possible. I look at it as on the rockets harden is fired up to send a message to the thunder. Often leads to forcing shots (like it did in their first meeting) while on OKC the whole team wants to send a message to the league they're fine without harden. Well see though you've been pretty good at these home dogs vs marquee teams. BOL

^good point. If smith doesn't go I'd play Indiana.
SO FAR NO WORD ON SMITH. BUT I FIGURE IF A GUY DOESN'T PLAY THE FOURTH QUARTER WITH A STRAINED HIP FLEXOR, HE'S NOT PLAYING THE NEXT NIGHT. ALL OVER INDIANA.

No confidence what so ever in OKC or Houston over the other. I honestly favor the Rockets in this matchup. I could get blasted for this, but I like Linn/Harden as a better combo than Durant/Westbrook. Why? Because Westbrook is a selfish d-box, and will continue to blow it by getting greedy in crunch time.
DEN +6.5 is the play of the day. Memphis is over rated in my book, and they're not even that highly rated! GL.

^Forbes like i said on your thread totally agree with the Den play. As far as westbrook he's a HUGE asset when he's rolling but is prone to those bonehead or selfish plays at inopportune times. Even if westbrook turned the ball over 90% of his touches the westbrook/Durant combo can't even be compared to Lin/Harden. Durant is better on his own then those other 2. Westbrook's bonehead plays in tough situations hurt them to the point that it costs them the game maybe a handful of times over the season at most. His game helps them win dozens of games. I'm not a Westbrook fan by any means but the hate on him has gone way too far. He's on a totally different level then Lin from both a skill and athleticism standpoint. Even with is flaws he's a lock as a top 10 pg.

4 units: Denver +6.5 @ Memphis Memphis is 3-7-1 Last 11 ATS Denver is 4-2 ATS last 6 vs Denver
These teams have play tough against one another, Memphis has struggled recently and even when playing well don't often blow out teams. Memphis is a grind it out team that beats you on the glass. Denver leads the league in rebounding which will help them hang tough
3 units: Toronto + 4.5 @ Orlando Toronto has won 6 of last 7 SU Orlando has lost 4 of last 5 SU Like the way these teams match up. Personally believe Toronto is the better team at the moment as Big Baby has been a costly loss for Orlando. Toronto still seems to be undervalued so ill continue taking them.
3 units: New Orleans @ Charlotte +3.5 What a garbage game but this line doesn't seem right to me. Charlottes struggles have been well documented losing 17 straight but NO hasn't done much better losing 12 of 13. This game should probably be a pickem so ill take the value with the home dog. Total gut play but I think Charlotte snaps that losing streak. Put it this way if they don't find a way to win this one they may not win again this year.

Canceling my Charlotte play for tonight. hornets to activate Eric Gordon tonight and have him come off the bench. Who knows what that does for NO. Should at least fire them up a bit.

A tad dissapointed in you Capper...I'm liking the bobcats a lot tonight btoh ats and ml. Gordon back is just going to slow them down, has never played with most of the guys on the court and barely practiced.

@BonnerFan i know i hate flippin my pick but playing the over is quite similar to playing charlotte to win. We know charlotte will get scored on, even by NO. To win they will have to get +95 points so the over holds similar value in my eyes. Time will tell i guess if i regret the switch.
