Golden States Warriors -5
4 Unit Play
Golden States has shown why they are still a force to reckon. Like I said in my last Golden States play, Baron Davis is just a different ball player when the race for a play-off spot is on. The same goes with their coach Don Nelson who'll be making his team win all their road trips to keep the chasing Denver Nuggets at bay. The Warriors is a much better team when they play several games in a row and it get's them going. Charlotte on the other hand finally found a way to get some Ws. The problem with them is that when they start winning, they seem to can't keep it up. Charlotte is also weak against 3-pointing teams that can run the ball.
Sacramento Kings -2.5
4 Unit Play
This is perhaps a crazy line. The Sacramento Kings is playing a high level of basketball as showcased in their game against the Lakers last night. The Sacramento roster is quite healthy again and they should be firing away in tonights game against the struggling clippers. Kaman will have a restricted playing time tomorrow which is good news for the Kings. Tim Thomas won't be playing in tomorrow's game as well (thanks Mr.Breaker). The Clippers has yet to cover the spread yet since getting +14 against the Nuggets. The clippers is a 13-19 ATS team when playing after a day of rest and they'll be hosting a furious Sacramento Kings. I'm pretty sure they will be bouncing back from the Laker's comeback win and their fury will fuel them to win in LA.
Orlando Magic -2
3 Unit Play
The Wizards seem to have the most problems when facing a team with great post presence. Like the Warriors, Orlando is pretty good when they get no rest days between games as it allows them to focus more and get their rythmn going. The Wizards is an outstanding 7-0 playing a game after 2 rest days which is quite a feat. They are 17-12 at home and some of those wins came from an injury-plagued Wizards roster. Orlando on the other hand is surprisingly a much better road team ATS. Jameer Nelson should be 100% tonight. This should be a pretty interesting matchup. The first half should be pretty close. Look for the Magics to pull away in the fourth.
That should be it for tonight. 3 solid plays. I'm leaning towards playing Toronto, Seattle, Phoenix and Houston tonight. I'm still looking up some numbers to back me up.
Any comments/thoughts?
Goodluck on your wagers!
