NBA Totals - Monday 2-20-12

It's hard telling how he will be integrated into the offense (that still sounds strange to say about Carmelo Anthony). I for sure won't be making a play on it; they could score 110 just as easily as they could score 90. In my opinion, Carmelo will get into his groove very quickly because Lin appears to be very unselfish, but to count on that happening his first game back is a bit risky.

Again, it's hard to tell. It especially doesn't help that my system has it right about where it is. You've got Ray Allen & Paul Pierce versus the Dallas Mavericks. I could easily see Dallas winning this game 90-75 or something similar to that. Boston couldn't score on DETROIT for God's sakes, and now they've got to play the defending champs on a B2B? I will pass on this one, but I can't say I have a lean one way or the other.

I think NBA halves are way harder than game totals to bet. With full-games, you're allowing the averages to show themselves. It seems like, with games this year, you can count on one-half being "normal" between the two teams, while the other half is uncharacteristic, whether it be high or low. I like the under more because I could give you an example of a game that was already played today that started out hot in the first quarter and slowed down drastically for the remainder of the game.

My numbers suggest the under, that's for sure. I've given up betting on the Nuggets games though. It seems like everytime I bet, I bet the UNDER and get housed. When I don't bet, then the under hits. I'm laying off tonight - which is probably GREAT news for you should you choose to play it.
