Every NBA season, I always create a power rating to help me with my NBA selections. I think there have been sufficient games played to get a good reading. As always, I'm going to monitor my plays and to see if there's an edge in any ratings. I always use three ratings:
Injuries, Trends, Back-to-Back, 3rd game in 4 night, 5 games in 7 nights, 7 games in 11 nights, Revenge, Biorhythms, Motivation, Looking Ahead, FG%, 3pt FG%, Rebounds, Steals, FT%, No Rest, 1 day Rest, 2 days Rest, 3+ Days Rest, After scoring 100+, After scoring less than 100+, Assists, Turnovers, After a Win, After a Loss, Team Rebound, Line Moves, Fading Covers, Public plays, etc, etc, etc.
It ONLY takes into account:

- LAST 10 (OVERALL) Ratings (Last 10 games overall for all teams) (+3 points added for Home Court Advantage) (Could change during course of season)
- Road/HOME Ratings (All Road/Home games played thus far) (No Home Court Advantage added)

- MARGIN OF VICTORY/LOSSES
- STRENGHT OF SCHEDULE
- and POINTS ALLOWED PER GAME (DEFENSE)
