yea man i think OKC -2 is a good play... maybe one of my POD's

also liking Boston good value with them at home to get back on track. still gotta dig into this one.

Dude take a look at the refs in the okc/new orleans game

Tony Brothers: Home Team ATS: 9-31-2
                      Home Team W/L: 18-24

Dan Crawford: Home Team ATS: 16-27
                     Home Team W/L: 25-18

Phil Robinson: Home Team ATS: 16-17-2
                     Home Team W/L: 18-17


With a line that low all you need to be looking at is W/L not ATS which they are 61-59

If Peja is getting mad playing time, that likely means he's gonna have to guard either Jeff Green or Dooooorant. Good luck with stopping either of those guys, Peja.

I have to think that Sefolosha will be assigned to Peja for most of the game, his length and footwork should give Peja troubles.

In the end I think you have an exponentially better defensive team with the best player on the floor against a team in the middle of a fairly major re-configuration. What sold me was Kap's take on the guard match-up and the Thunders recent road performances. 

Feels like you've got the better team with very low points taking the Thunder, so I'm taking the Thunder-regardless of the line fishiness.

Thanks again Kap, and lets hope it's just that easy.

Hole -- I hope it's easy as well, but I've long learned not to expect it. You can break down matchups perfectly in the NBA and still lose despite being on point from a basketball analysis point of view.

The more I take a look at this game, the more I think that the PG matchup will dictate how this game goes. The last two games without CP3, Collison has performed admirably, averaging close to 17 PPG and 17 assists (seriously). New Orleans beat Memphis at Memphis and then lost to Phoenix at home.

Look who Collison was matched up against in those games -- Mike Conley/Jamaal Tinsley and Steve Nash/Goran Dragic. None of those PGs are considered defensive stalwarts (although Dragic isn't bad per se) and none of them can bring the combination of quickness and power that Russell Westbrook could.

Throw on top of that Westbrook's certain desire to play well tonight to show that he shouldn't have been sitting on the bench behind Collison at the point while at UCLA, and everything points to a solid outing tonight from the Thunder.

Game is now at OKC -2.5 at BetJam. If I had any hesitations about my OKC play, I'd buy a point to -130 (-3.5) and pray for a 2 or 3 point victory.
