One day away from my birthday, I'm hoping these picks will bring me luck. Stupidly played Golden State last night but bought out of it at the last second. However, the play still counts against the posted record and YTD total.
I'm prime fade material right now, on an 0-4 run that has wiped out most of my profits from the last week or so. I've lost ~ 20 units in the last week.
This Phoenix/Philly game tonight is just weird. I remember talking about it with HappyKane last week and he predicted Suns catching two. I look and it's Suns catching one, so big ups to HK on being able to nail that one so well (edited: well, at least it WAS Suns catching one at some point last night I think, now I see Phoenix -2 this morning).
Suns have played pretty awesome on the road this year and this line just screams out for Phoenix action. I'm somewhat in the middle and hesitant to pull the trigger because it seems a little too easy. Might end up playing it but want to look at it a little more in depth.
Tonight's plays:
1. Los Angeles Clippers -1 (+100), 8 to win 8 -- New Orleans is just so disappointing this year considering they have the best PG in the game. Clippers are a sneaky good/effective team and I'll lay one with them against New Orleans on the road on a B2B. Never underestimate the potential of teams playing B2B's in Los Angeles. These guys are young dudes who likely have side tail in Los Angeles and enjoying going out to the clubs and doing LA type stuff when they are in town. There's always the possibility that a couple guys on New Orleans might have gone out and drank a little too much last night or not got the rest they needed cause they had some freak a leek in the room with them last night. Weird angle, but it can't be underestimated. Baron Davis should be looking forward to catching Paul on a B2B, and I think that the Clippers should have a distinct advantage down low. Chris freaking Kamen has been playing great recently as well. Like I said, Clippers are sneaky good.
That's it for right now, gotta get to work. Best of luck to everyone today, tail at your own peril

The Clippers are sneaky good? No actually they suck and are one of the worse teams in the league. Damn, you are HORRIBLE at gambling, go throw more money on the 49ers, hahahaha. You suck.

Gordon considered doubtful for Monday: The Los Angeles Times reports that Eric Gordon
is suffering from a sore left groin, making him doubtful for Monday
night's game against the New Orleans Hornets. Gordon didn't suffer a
specific acute injury but experienced discomfort and soreness during
the fourth quarter of Saturday night's victory over Memphis. (Updated 11/09/2009).

nbafan -- no joke, this dude is the first to do it, so I guess that means I've officially made it in this wacky Covers world!
lleytian -- thanks man, I'm getting better as time goes by and I get more experience. I don't hold myself out as an expert nor do I expect expert results. I just do this for fun because being a lawyer is boring enough.

You would think Baron should be looking forward to playing Paul, but Baron is wasted talent. I've watched him play and he's a selfish front runner. When things are bad, he throws in the towel and cries.
Kaman is playing like a mad man. Looking for that big contract, lol.
If Gordon is out, that'll suck because he's playing better then Baron, I hope that doesn't mean we'll see more Ricky Davis. His basektball IQ is nonexistent. I really annoying to watch Ricky Davis play.
But hey I like the Clippers tonight.
