I think the Celtics have the advantage in this first game as their defensive match-ups are solid to counter Miami's big 3. Since Wade played only 3 minutes in pre-season and with Mike Miller being out, I see Miami struggles to play together especially with the patchwork bench rotation unestablished. The biggest advantage is Rondo and the Celtics' bench which should allow the Celtics to control the flow of the game and win tonight!

The revamped Rockets have always played well in LA. Last year's addition of K. Martin elevated the Rockets to one of the highest scoring teams in the 2nd half. With Kobe struggling in the pre-season and Bynum out, the Rocket have enough fire power to at least score competitively with the Lakers. The bench is also a major advantage for the Rockets as Lakers are integrating their new signees and may not be ready to handle the more established Rockets' reserves.
