Logica, there are local books that have online access.  It makes it easier across the board.  Most local books only like chalk, stay away from totals, halves, parlays, teasers, etc.   I use a local book and all my wagers are entered through a website.  Where people get in trouble is locals operate on credit and I am pretty sure all offshore betting you need to establish an account with a credit card.   Depending on where you live locals with this set up will be a challenge due differing "rules and regulations" so to speak. 

One thing I do not understand on this thread is all of the people who question the amount this capper bets.  The significant of the amount is proportional to that persons bankroll and should not be viewed as a false or an unreal bet but you should use the size of his bets  as an indication of how strong he feels about that play.  IMO, it does not matter if someone is betting $100 or $10,000 as long as you have the ability to understand the plays, analysis and use this knowledge along with your skill (if any) to determine the best play for the evening. 

This guys ability to cap totals lately is unbelievable!  Whether it takes OT, lucky bucket, late fouls; he has been on the right side of them lately, which everyone should enjoy as all of us have been on the other side too many times.
