Regular season they were the best ATS team 1Q on the road. Get it though, this is the post season.
In the playoffs off a loss 1Q: 7-1 SU/7-1 ATS. Only one of these was away though, that lost, and Wemby didn't play in that game. If the record was a little stronger like you pointed out, I would have added a bit more.
Playoff teams off a home favorite loss in general 1Q 13-5-1 SU and Away 5-3 SU (small sample)
Do or die I think they come strong after that collapse, can't speak for the rest of the game.

Knicks backers could almost wait to see if they’re down after the 1Q and play some on the ml in different ways at plus money.
Knicks have been better than I expected 1Q in the playoffs, but on the streak they are on makes sense.
10-6 SU/ATS
5-2 SU/ATS at home
Also, Spurs full game TTO on the road 8-1 but opponent TTO 6-2-1
Makes me think if the Spurs can hang the game may be higher scoring. Not a fan of playing overs in the Finals though.

Knicks 1st qtr. at home drops to 3-2 SU and ATS when youn consider just those games where the opponent is off a loss. If you disregard Gm. 1 vs. Atlanta when the loss Atl. was coming off of was a game they weren't trying to win (last game of season, meaningless standingswise, rested starters) the record becomes 2-2. Negates the Ist qtr. edge at home I thought the Knicks had tonight.

I’ve been wrong the last 2 games , I’m really surprised the Spurs didn’t win game 2- Could have possibly won both if not for Wendy’s mental errors down the stretch. Spurs have been a good 1st qtr team but I’m worried the Knicks might play well from the start. Spurs may get some calls to keep the series going - I don’t know but I hope you cash buddy
