Playoff Query of the Day
Small sample because double digit road favorites are not common
Double digit away favorites are 18-1 SU/13-5-1 ATS
Double digit away favorites looking to close out a series 8-2-1 ATS
Only two non-covers in this situation? OKC Thunder
of course
I liked the team total because the scores avg 117+ on both examples and fits my breakdown of how I think the game will be played

Game 4 Home teams down 0-3 when they didn't show up in game 3 (quantified by losing ATS by a significant number)?

@Stew Baker
Down 0-3 at home after losing by 10+ points the previous game: 8-33 SU/15-25 ATS
L10 years 2-14 SU/4-12 ATS also OVER was 12-3-1 away team avg 121.81 points
NY/TT was worth the look at a small price -115 (I still thought Philly would fight nope)
So now this is similar to Lakers tonight, do they pack the bags for Cancun or fight one more time?
Cases for the Lakers: is it different when you get blown out by 20+ points? 3+ covers and road favorites after R1 11-21 ATS? Inflated line?
I don't know how I could back LA though after what we've seen and SGA hasn't really had a good game. What adjustments can they make?
Lakers vs Thunder this season as dogs 0-7 SU/ATS and since last season 1-9 SU/ATS. Almost all of these double digit loses.
Maybe LA covers but I don't want that stress.

well said. your line "I don't know how I could back LA though after what we've seen and SGA hasn't really had a good game. What adjustments can they make?" unless you can make LeBron 25, resurrect Kobe or bring back a 1996 MJ there are no adjustments the Lakers can make. Broom. BOOM!

i think a better measure, though,of whether a team shows up is whether the team loses ATS by 10+ points (what I specified originally), unless that's the query you acrually did run.
Lakers against the spread looks like crap shoot.
