ya i was shocked wit all the people on thunder yesterday in this forum, i ended up goin real small on minny at the last second, but man i saw it as a great spot as well for minny, the line to me was sayin blowout....chess u r absolutely right about fadin emotional win. bet what is currently happening, not trends and past shit...that can help but bet the present wit some logic

I agree 100% chess...I looked at Minny -6 last night but didn't bet them...what a brainfart! They are playing so well right now with Foye shooting lights out.  An easy W that went unbet because of reading too many posts on covers!

   Chess, I know where your coming from. All last week I wanted Eagles. Saturday comes, start reading about Minny this, and Vegas that. Then comes trigger time... well you know the rest. Took Minn and lost.
 
Can't even remember the last time that happened, and will remember that loss for a long time...Called Live and Learn.

Absolutely correct. Dont over analyze your picks based on the forum. Go with your gut. Lets face it, Your either on the right side or wrong side of your bet. I would rather lose knowing it was the right side. Like you said, Dont read into the BS. All it takes is one guy to fuck up the thread with negative thoughts.

One other thing.. fuck it. I will post in another thread about 2nd half plays.

utah and minn were obvious what the fuck are u talking about both teams were comin in hot and playing extremely well i dont kno where u can come off the limb and say that

Chess 1, I agree with Borat.  You said you were honest in your thread.  Well you should of just saying that people should trust your 1st guess on the games and dont listen to other cappers or let them talk you out of it.  why did you even mention "asian dude with the system and was on OKC; that one person is 1Hit.  Regardless, you shouldnt not put "asian" guy in there......racist.
 
2.  If you were so sure that Utah and MIN are obvious then why didnt you play them before reading covers' posts.  If everything look so obvious then dont you think other people would see that as well and what if those people have a ton of  and loaded on those two then you will see what would of happen.  It is so EASY to say ohh well that was "obvious" after seeing a winning team. 
 
3.  Did you think Cleveland was obvious last night.  Ohhh pleaseeee.
 
4.  A good bettor would never let anyone talks him out of his pick.  He should of know why he is picking a certain team and even after read other people posts.  He then suppose to look at the teams deeper to see what he is not missing.  Why blame other talk you out of your good game.  You TALKED yourself out of it and you are the one who second guess yourself that why you spent time reading posts.

Obvious in terms of opposite teams coming off from emotional wins.Typical let down spots.Please read the 1st post.

I think this is a major key point. It makes the difference in being a winner. How many people piss money away just for the sake of betting? Or just to have action?

Tight aggressive style in sports and poker is a proven winning method.

Chess, doesn't matter how much you like a certain game, if you look hard enough, you'll find someone who likes the other side. Find a few well respected opinions, but other than those, ride your own opinions...especially if you've been doing well. As far as that system of some asian guy, i did a little backtesting and there is no way those numbers correllate.

Hey Chess....Did you ever pull those Raptor stats on the 1st Q leads...quite impressive to say the least....They've led in all but 4 of their last 22 starts and the end of the 1st qtr losing out to OKL/CLE/UT/DEN....good luck....
