KNICKS -2 over Grizzlies.

You can't get off to a worse start than how the Knicks opened the 2016-2017 season.

Embarrassed by the Cavs who were getting their rings that night (something the current Knicks roster can only dream about), on national TV, and now have a FOUR day layoff to make corrections.

I love that Courtney Lee is going against his old team as well, one that discarded him in one of his best seasons. Extra points/assists/rebounds built in right there.

Very simple angle here with the Knicks and their home opener trying to show something to the home fans and themselves. Memphis is no pushover but coming in at 1-0 is a plus.

Basically a push line of 2 where only a point beats us. Will roll with the Knicks here.

Almost never pick two NBA games in one night but the beginning of the season is a strange thing. Have to pounce before the players start take midseason games off.

I pick one CFB and one NFL a week. I don't  like anything in the NFL this week so I posted 2 CFb.

NBA season just started. OF COURSE I am going to pick some NBA games because THE SEASON is here.

Both the angles night have to do with the first win in a new arena and the knicks FIRST home game. You only get ONE shot at the first game. So I played both. The volume has not increased.

I still am 'very selective'. I had two picks a week: one CFB and one NFL. I said in the Boise thread that my NFL pick this week was too square to post and that was why I was posting two CFB picks.

The NBA season started. I could be here at any time but I love the beginning of the season the most because the FIRST home games, as seen with the Knicks and Kings tonight (the kings really had a winnable first home game tonight  after the Spurs game before this one).

It worked to perfection: 2-0.

That pick just won and the arena angle worked to perfection as did Joerger's influence as stated in the OP.

Well this pick obviously won handily.

Just stick it out if you want to tail. I'm a 70% capper over two years and intend to stay that way. I will lose 3 games out of 10. Two came today. Next week will be better.
