Been studying the nba boards for a few hours now. Haven't gotten to totals yet but their are a handful of spreads I like atm.

Liking OKC here even without Durant, the Bucks are terrible.

Don't see how Boston losing here, but I have a hard time betting on this team.

I'm waiting on the injury report before touching the Miami game, but if Chalmers and either Bosh or Wade are in I'll take them.

Like the 76ers here with most of the Pacers resting, but I'm not sold on this one either.

I like the Bobcats as well.

These are just leans, hoping for a big day today. Let's win some money!

Hey guys, here&#x27;s some early baseball plays...&#xD;&#xA;StL/Pitt Over 7 -120 MEDIUM to BIG.  Cards are averaging 6&#x2B; runs scored per game through the season and have had plenty of past success vs. AJ Burnett.  Pirates averaged 6&#x2B; runs scored their last 6 games and should be fine vs. the rookie Miller.1st 5 innings Under 4.5 TB/Balt MEDIUM.  Moore for TB pitched 11 scoreless innings over his last two starts.  Tillman for Balt only gave up two runs his last start, and TB offense has been one of the worst.  Wind blowing in slightly.Ariz &#x2B;143 SMALL.  Snakes pitcher Miley as good as Sabathia.  Snakes offense better too.  But public flocks to the name, so I&#x27;ll take &#x2B;143 on what really should be a tossup. Wash -1.5 &#x2B;105 SMALL.  Detwiler has been incredible his last couple starts for Wash, and Nolasco is suspect.  Maybe Wash can get out of their offensive funk and give the Marls a beating.&#xD;&#xA;Hoping I can keep the hot streak going.  GL

From a situational standpoint what do you guys think about the league hoping for a - Rockets / Thunder matchup and Lakers/Spurs matchup to help boost playoff ratings. Been reading in the forums about the huge difference in FT attempts between the Jazz and Lakers over this past week (even excluding the hack-a-howard attempts), possibly suggesting the league helping the Lakers get to the playoffs.

Is this a legit idea to consider or am I just being silly?

[/Quote]Lakers get more calls and I believe the Spurs tanked their last game against them.  That doesn&#x27;t influence my capping at all though.  Players aren&#x27;t bought in the NBA, that&#x27;s just illogical.  Refs on the other hand? Who knows.  Refs can influence a game to an extent, but the Rockets could just beat them by 30 regardless of "what Stern wants"

To be clear, I think Lakers win because the Rockets suck on the road and don&#x27;t have any real answers to the Lakers big men.  I&#x27;m just saying Rockets are a jump shooting team and there is a possibility that they just blow them out regardless of any fixes.

You want confirmation they&#x27;re baseball?   &#xD;&#xA;I like the Under in AZ/NYY but like AZ better because getting &#x2B;143 is wild.  And if I was playing Under I would go with Under 1st 5 innings because I don&#x27;t trust the bullpens against teams that can hit.&#xD;&#xA;The other two (overs) will be playing with an 80% chance of rain  Way too much risk, so I&#x27;m keeping far away from them.
