as far as pre game analysis , your write ups are clearly the best on these forums.

you've gone up a notch from last year.....

but i have 1 reservation about your NOH pick tonight


i'll start by saying that i really have a lot of time for NOH , but DAL are a side i can never really show love for....

for many years DAL have shown that when it comes to the real business end of the season, they just lack the heart and the will to overcome the obstacles to make a really deep run....

having said that...

tonight ,...i would NOT bet on NOH...

a theory i have always followed is the "double loss" theory...

when sides have a winning run of 7 games + ,...like NOH ,..going 8-0 to start the year......
when they finally lose and the run comes to an end.....they almost always lose the 2nd game as well.......especially when they are favoured...

just look at what the Lakers did ....

they also went 8-0.....lost to DEN on the road...then went back to LA ,..and lost to PHO....( just like last year...LAL had a long winning run....lost a game,..then had a home game vs PHO minus Nash....and PHO won the game straight up  as 9 pt dogs..)

i love NOH ,....but tonight is a night i would not touch them...
that double loss theory is a tough obstacle to overcome

i'm not touching DAL either......i don't trust them enough...
but if i had a gun to my head....DAL + the pts
