Don't be fooled ppl, I'm a die hard Bulls fan and live 5 blocks from the UC. The Nets are gonna win by 6-9. Vegas has the line at 7 with my book, desperately trying for even action, begging Bulls backers to take the 7. Nets are getting pounded, don't let the inflated lines fool you ppl. Keep pounding Nets

yeah nets are gonna win by DD. if the bulls had ANY chance the line would be 3 or less. 

7 says nets in a BLOWOUT. they will get up by 20 & it will slip into the low DD at the close.

this will happen because the bulls are spent. theyre on the road. i would give them a chance at home, but not in brooklyn. brooklyn is a basketball town so the nets will sizzle.

Hinrich is more important.  Barring foul trouble, Butler and Belli can and will play basically the full 48.  The problem is Robinson just doesn't match up with D Will and his backup is one of the worst players in the NBA.  And Robinson is prone to foul a lot guarding Williams.  Marquis Teague is a joke.  I wonder if Thibs is working on a lineup of Belli at the point with Rip at SG and Butler at SF.  I mean, what happens if Nate picks up 2 quick fouls.  Bulls have 0 chance with Teague on the floor.  0.

Don't be too hard on Teague. He's a 4th string guard on this team. He's not meant for this type of spot.

If Rip Hamilton can be the Rip Hamilton of old for one night, they can get inside this number, but god, Rip looks ready to sign his retirement papers right now. He is just such a nonfactor on the floor.

So essentially you have Bulter, Belli, and Nate going 42-48. And you know Boozer wants 48. Noah can't go 48 but would if you chopped his legs off.

Therefore, you are betting a team without a bench unless Taj drops 25 in some miracle performance.

The Heat have EIGHT days off before they play the Nets I believe.

Game 1 will be there primary chance because of rust and rust alone.

What does the line have to do with the outcome of the game...nothing.

Mostly agree.

I don't think Teague will ever do anything. He was just a bad pick.  Thibs obviously doesn't trust Rip no and he hasn't shown anything for months.  Boozer can't go 48 but Gibson can spell him just fine.  Noah won't sit much.  He played about 43 last game and short of foul trouble will do so again.  Butler may be the guy that can least afford foul trouble.  He really has no backup and will play all 48 no problem unless he gets in foul trouble.  Young kid doesn't seem to get tired.  The biggest problem remains Nate trying to guard Williams.  Square peg round hole.  Benches tend to be less factors in a Game 7.  I'm waiting for Butler to have a huge game.  He's been good lately, but he needs to be more aggressive taking it to the hole.  They can't guard him.  He's too modest.

And given all that, ya have to wonder how this line is just 7....(and I just can't pull the trigger on the nets because of it)

You're saying Butler can only defend so intensely (given he has no backup) and you're right, and Nate can't guard Deron, Noah is injured, and there is no bench.

It boggles my mind this same team SICK were within three last game!

Personal opinion here has over as the best pick. (Explained below)

To your point about the three point loss, I really think the nets go through the motions at times and just don't have a killer instinct. I don't see the Bulls winning the game, but their heart will probably give them the cover. Obviously they are going to have to score and play the nets type of game, which I would think is going to be uptempo. With Deng out, the nets should score more and Bulls play from behind majority of the game, Nets let the Bulls back in it (within 4) towards the end of the third, competitive 55-60 point fourth quarter. Bulls should also be looking to penetrate alot. This could all go down the drain if the fill-ins/ thin bench buckle to the pressure. Once again my opinion, but would like input if anyone has it.
