To sum it up.... An NBA Blowout Looms...
Though both clubs have almost identical SU records, tonight's game seems almost unfair. The reason is 10.
What is the signifignce of the number 10 tonight? It is the number of airplane flights the Kings will have taken in the last the last 17 days. 10, Its also the number of games the Kings will have played, after tonight, during the same span. 10 is how many thousand miles the Kings have flown in approximately the same time period.
The King's have had only 8 days of this month, all of which were spent on airplanes, 3 back to back to series and crossed a ludicrous 6 time zones.
Tonight's game against the Bucks will be the Kings last game, of 3 road back to back series in the 17 days. Almost all of which they have played without the services of Kevin Martin.
I am not sure what the NBA was thinking here, but I am not sure how the Sacramento Kings will wake up in the morning Saturday let alone play a competitive pro basketball the same night.
Even if the Kings did roll out of bed on time, they are an awful 1-11 SU on the road this year. They are 12-26 ATS their last 38 out of conference. In back o back games the Kings are allowing a near league low 112 points against per game. With all of these bad trends tied to the exhaustion the Kings must be facing, the Bucks should thrive.
The Bucks, also on back to back nights off a loss to the Cavs (Fri) are actually 5-0 ATS in the second game of back to back series this season. The Bucks also seem to play some of their best defense in the back game of these series allowing only an average on 93 against in the tail game of a 2 set. Compared to the Kings 1-11 SU road record compared to the Bucks 9-4 mark at home.
The Bucks have won 2 in a row SU against the Kings and out rebounded them in 7 of the last 10.
I see no way the Kings, or any human beings for that matter, could compete tonight after all the travel and venturing into a non-conference game on the 2nd of two nights, on the road versus
a team that excels in back to back situation.
Take the Bucks tonight -6 in my Legendary 2009 NBA Blow Out Game of The Year.
