LBJ is an alltime great player but let's not get carried-away.
He shot 37.8% from the field and 16.7% on 3's that be one of the worst shooters in the league.
His regular season EFG% was 53.5% and his playoff EFG% is 43.9%, a huge almost 10% drop-off.
The MVP Curry reg season EFG% was 59.4% and his playoff EFG% is 59% , no drop-off there.
The flaw in triple-doubles is, getting double in pts scored is easy for any NBA player.
How easy, well, this easy..........the ave game has 100 pts scored, 43.3 rebs but only 22 assist.
There are far more than double the pts scored then rebs and almost 5 times pts scored in a game to assist.
So to get a triple-double a player needs to be built for rebs and assist because the points are handed to him on a silver platter.
A far better triple double would be scoring 20 pts while shooting a EFG OF 55% or better the field, if we did that LBJ would lose the most triple doubles of likely any great player because he can not do everything well, at one time the way other great players could.
