No wonder Bator hardly ever starts threads. He takes the time to type

I like to try to look into the mindset of these athletes and teams. I think it's critically important to put yourself in their shoes. I'm not always right about these assessments, but I've been doing this for a long time and I've found that I've been right a lot more than I've been wrong so I continue letting this work for me. Maybe the Bulls are completely uninspired today, and maybe the Nets aren't satisfied with two straight wins but rather hungry for a third. If that's the case, then I'll lose this bet, but I'm betting that that's not the case.

I dont see other reason for him posting...after all, he is betting 10-20K a game,..or thats what he says he is betting...i dont care how much he bets, really. Here's an little tidbit, The Nets are 16-7 ATS this year as a road dog of 9 1/2 or more. I know the line currently sits @ 9, but it opened @ 10. The BULLS have NOT been a HOME fav. of DD this entire year. A lot of mind games in this one, why a DD fav now, at this point in the season, after they seemed to have packed it in and the Nets are playing better? A home loss of 10 points or more isn't necessarily a traumatizing event like a loss where a team got absolutely clobbered by 25 or more. And this is the first time this season the Bulls are playing at home off a nationally televised 25+ point home loss. We'll see what happens.

Yes, you're right. I took a chance this morning because their was someone on Matchbook who was willing to take all the Nets +9.5 -108 I was willing to offer. I let that person gobble up ten units. As of right now, with 2.5 hours to go until gametime, Chicago -9.5 +108 is still the best line. I may add more if I can do better than that later on.
