Lakers trade Radmonovic to Bobcats for Morrison and Brown...What Do You Think?

Any thoughts on this? Just curious to get some real sports fans opinions on this trade.
 
I think Morrison has struggled but he may be able to find a place within the Lakers offense...hopefully get his shot going. Shannon Brown is athletic..has nice defense and should be able to bring something to the table. This may be a trade leading up to another move.
 
Signing Lamar Odom and Ariza may be the reason for this. Maybe going after Amare Stoudamire possibly.
 
Any thoughts?

I don't know who shannon brown is, but Morrisson i have seen play.
He is a poor man's lamar Odom, another big useless stiff on the laker's team. Who in the heck is making these picks.

At least Vlad played defense! Morrison? are you kidding me? and Adam is just as soft as Odom on offense, if not softer! you gotta be kidding me!

they might as well made a trade for Amare. Even if his bitch ass plays no defense, he is a monster on offense that will cut up that Boston front court and get them in tons of foul trouble! Unlike the yellow ass fool Odom who just settles for outside jumpers and is scared to go down the middle!

Ask any woman, then like a man who can take is strong and force it down the throat of any gaping orifice in the vicinity!

I declare the bobcats the winner in this trade! (Lakers have done absolutely nothing beneficial here..nothing!)

i think the bobcats made an awesome trade i think phil had no choice but to get rid of Radmonovic

No they wouldn't How do you play 3 PF? You would have Gasol, Odom, Stoudamire.

None of those guys can play defense either. If they get Bynum back they have a chance. Bynum is the key because he is a big guy that is very talented and push anybody around in the NBA.

 Vlad played defense! Thats a joke to say the least, I don't think much of this trade, but after what I saw from him during the finals last year when Pierce and the other Celts ran circles around him, I wanted my Lakers to get rid of him and now we have so thats a plus in my book.

None of these guys are going to be confused with being great defenders....but if they get Amare which i doubt...it is Championship...hands down. Who the hell can you stop if youre the other team? None of them! Amare isnt a great defender but his offensive game wont disappear like Lamars and Pau's did once they got frustrated and scared in The Finals.
 
Plus if Bynum does come back strong...you have Bynum at the 5...Amare at the 4 and Gasol at the 3!! Gasol already gets his against every 4 in the league..imagine what he would do to a 3! It would be ugly!
 
That being said...I dont think Phx would trade Amare to the Lakers....

GASOL AT THE 3? WTF??

he does not play the 3 and will never play the three. please know something about the game of basketball before you make a comment. amare and gasol on the floor at the same time will not work. gasol and amare both work the best from the high post.

gasol at the small forward spot? why in the hell would you put a 7-footer there...ever??

you make no sense and should never attempt to post a logical basketball thread again.

you guys are missing the point of this trade.  it had more to do with freeing up money to go ahead and try to resign arriza or LO.  vlad and luke basically had the same contracts (somewhere around 6 year 30 mil) and they needed to dump one of the two before the end of the year in my opinion.  obviously phil likes luke more than vlad so "boom out of here" to vlad. 
 
The deal also gives the Lakers some salary-cap relief. Radmanovic is owed $6.5 million next season and $6.9 million a year later in a player option.  morrison will be in the last year of his contract next year due about 5.3 million; not sure what browns contract is but you get the point.
 
 once again this trade doesnt mean much except $$$$.  vlad wasnt playing much (sitting behind luke and ariza who have more tools than vlad) and they would take anything they could to get rid of him and save $$$$$$$$$$$$$$ for the future

Morrison and Brown will get little to no playing time.    Morrison can not play defense, so he is of little use to Jackson.  I see Morrison getting moved by the Lakers in the future.  Whether this year or in the summer.

I do take that back.. Vlad doesnt play any defense.

Doesnt change the fact that the bobcats are the ones that made out great in this trade not the lakers.

The Cats only need some more scoring from their bench which they can squeeze out of Vlad.

Morrison to lakers i still say is complete garbage of a trade.

getting brown and morrison could also just be the lakers trying to develop them for the future of the team, they are both every young. kupchak may have seen something in them...or they're just really fed up with waiting for overpaid radmonovic to perform up to his contract. vlad was starting in the beginning of the season, now that luke is back phil rather have luke in the starting group. vladi is a hot/cold / on/off player. luke just fits better with the starters (great vision and passing ability make up for his lack of offensive productivitiy -which they don't count on him for anyways)
