kobe is probably a no-go.
with that being said, i still like the lakers. they are bigger and deeper and are on roll as of late and on the road. last time they where on a long road trip they didnt lose. looking for the same result this time around too....

"It was just burning, a lot of burning," Bryant said of the ankle. "I didn't roll it or anything like that. A guy just landed on it, jammed it. It's more a tendon than anything. Just trying to get the tendon to calm down, trying to let it not swell up too much."

He laughed when asked if there was only a 50% chance he would play Sunday against Atlanta.

"You know I'm playing," he said. "It's just a matter if I'm playing [poorly] or playing good to help the team out. I'll be ready to go."

I think atl keeps it close only because kobe plays limited minutes in the first and will play probably most of the third and fourth aka kobe time

Lakers want to set NBA record 7 road game win streak. It's going to be difficult with a banged up Kobe. But I expect the rest of team to step up tomorrow. If Fisher, Odom, and Gasol have decent games they should cover.

Atlanta is 28-9 at home, Lakers were laying, what, -9 to the Hawks when they played at Staples earlier this year, so it makes perfect sense to me that LA would walk into Atlanta as -3.5 point fave

On a serious note, does anyone know the extent of Kobe's injury? Yes he did come back 2H of the NJ game but he also shot 5-19FG...

So the Hawks have lost 2 in a row at home to the Spurs, and Celtics. Do they lose 3 in a row today fellas ? I'm waiting for Lakers pregame to hear the update on Kobe. bol to whatever u play.
