Lakers can do it baby!!!! Im fired up. We didnt have Artest and Bynum for defense against the celts last time. If bynum can play through the pain and be effective and Gasol can play Garnet better than 2 years ago I think LA can win it. Lakers bigs are the X-factors. They got pushed around in 2008! I dont see it happening again
Kobe is at the top of his game if you ask me. He looks better than last year when they won it all!!!!!

Nice try again this is not the same Laker team who lost to the Celts in the finals 2 years ago! If anything the Celts are older and the Lakers are better prepared for the Celts great dee.

I think Pierce's game is under-rated. I remember Jackson and Bryant praising him during the 2008 series as a player that can go either right or left with equal effectiveness...hit the three point shot...post up....and drive to the hoop and draw fouls.
Is Ron Artest a good defender.....absolutely.....but sometimes good offense is better than good defense.
That being said, the strength of Boston is they have balanced scoring. They don't depend on Pierce to be the guy.....if need be Allen could be the guy and maybe even the MVP of this series.

Let's GO LAKERS!
Hey Bounty, I see that you have been a Laker fan since you were a kid. Same here.
I lived the 70's a 13 year old kid watching as the 72' Lakers ran off a record 33 wins in a row. It was on a small 13" black and white TV (my times have changed). They went on to beat the Knicks for the first of many Championships in LA. Got to see Jerry West, Wilt Chamberlain, and a little of Elgin Baylor before he retired just barley into that season.
The eighties brought Show Time with Magic, Kareem, "Big Game" James Worthy and the rest. How much fun was it watching those teams run by Magic? We finally got that gorilla off our backs and beat the Celtics in 1985.
The 90's were mostly dry with a few playoff showings. This was mostly know as the Michael Jordan decade.
The 21st Century brought Shaquille O'Neal, Kobe Bryant and Phil Jackson together and back to their winning ways .
This is the Lakers 3rd finals showing in the same number of years having lost to Boston in '08 and winning against Orlando in '09.
This Championship is for redemption of '08
