I got money on Lakers and can't believe they blew a big league like that.  The team got tired for playing a lot of minutes with a depleted lineup.  You got MVP, Jamison and Bryant who are in the 2nd half of their careers playing heavy minutes.  You got Duhon starting at point so you know there's not offense from him

Houston played 9 guys but they are so much younger and they can run all day long.

Lakers down by 2 Kobe gets the ball at the 3 point line and is double teammed at the 3 point line.  Pau is open at the top of the key but Kobe fades and shoots, brick. Lakers lose!

Your intial comment about Kobe is so freeking stupid... This game is not about KOBE... its about the coach.. terrrible, terrible play..

THERE IS NO ONE MORE CONSISTENT THE KOBE !

Lakers were up by 17 at one stage - NO WAY HOUSTON should have been anywhere near this at the end.

Howard has to suck it up and sit on the bench with 6mins to play... HE IS A LIABILITY and if a team can trade 1 point for 2 or 3 they will do it all 4th quarter if required.

I can honestly see them booting D'Antoni and getting Phil Jackson in before Years end... thats how bad its getting !

Kobe is the best 1 on 1 player ever.   The problem, however, is that he doesnt make his teammates better cuz hes selfish.  He has the clutch jean, but is more than willing to jack up a 3 w two to  three people on him rather than get the best shot fir the team.  Thus, he shoots 27% in the last minute w game on line.   For those who put kobe in same sentence w jordan ask 1 ?, kobe won 5, but how many would jordan have won w that same team.  The answer is at least 8, probably more.

Ok u say pass to his open teammates luke artest who missed a bunny off rebound and then jamison misses bunny tip. U forget if kobe doesnt hit that 3 10 sec bfor game is over so wat ge missed last shot but artest or jamison shoulda finished one of those

And durant hasnt done it long enuf to b considered clutch and dirk had one clutch run thats it. Kobe has ben most clutch his whole career. And if u prob asked every gut in nba who they would want taking last shot u would bet at least 75% said kobe

This post makes no sense. Everyone knows how many big shots Kobe has hit thru the years. The one negative you could say about Kobe's game is that he really has never made his teammates better. Magic, Jordan, Duncan just to name a few all make there teammates much better players.

The thing that makes kobe so hood in clutch is he has a short memory and no matter how good or bad he is shottin it that day hr will takr that shot
