Kobe is a great player but I don't care if he scores 60 a night if they keep losing. Tomorrow night he probably scores 40+ but if they lose it means nothing.

Yes and lebron is in his prime. You keep making my point over and over. Im not saying Kobe is currently better then any of those guys. Im saying its not fair to compare young guns in their prime to a 34 year old.

Statistics show that most stars will not make it to season 17. I can make an educated guess by using basic medical science and knowledge. 50/50 chance that both those guys will even be playing at 34. Power players that use pure power such as Lebron decline the fastest. Durant has a way better chance to copy what Kobe has done do to his style of play. Kobe has had I think 4 knee surgeries. I highly doubt Lebrons power game will survive through all the years of abuse on his body.

Lol lebron had a triple double and still lost to the wizards. Isnt that the same as bashing kobe for putting up 40 and still losing? It does suck to hear so much sh1t talking about kobe being a hogball etc etc, when most of the time it aint even his fault that they lose, yet as the captain of the team..he gets criticize. Kobe is doing all he can in his part to help his team win..but it aint a one person effort..he needs the rest of his team to back him up as well. For example the game against the pacers last month where kobe put up 40 with a flu. How many did his total teammates put up...37! Wtf?! And lets not start talking about those freethrows. I mean come on...the lakers may not win a championship this year but tell me one team who has had a huge change to the roster plus a new coach and won a championship the same year? Even lebron had to wait a year to get ring

A loss is a loss but comparing someone who scored 39 points and did nothing else to help the team compared to a guy who got his teammates involved rebounded the basketball and still scored 26 points is a joke! Plus at the end of the day the heat are 12-4 and the lakers are 8-10.

Kobe is at his best when he picks and chooses his spots to be aggressive. When he is aggressive the whole game it hurts the flow of the offense especially at the end of the game

Can any Laker fans answer this?? How does taking 31 shots in a game good for your team when your second best scorer only has 11?
I just want a good answer how that helps the team down the road. Because it might get worse if they keep losing

i think the title of your post says it all.....kobe bryant might be the only star player at 34 that plays with another dominant big man and chucks up more shots and scores 30 plus points...

kobe bryant is one of the great scorers in the game but all he's done most of his career is try his hardest to make people forget about the guy in my avatar instead of create his own legacy....

he can win 12 titles in my opinion it doesn't matter to me...its just sad to me how a guy at 34 is still trying to chase records Michael set. He's playing with better players for the most part much of his career than Michael ever had yet still loves to hog the garbage out of the ball...kobe bryant= loser hack

Nothing else to help the team? Do you know the kind of burden kobe hangs on his back? He got a 7footer that needs reminders to pick up his big boy pants, another 7 footer who hardly can hit freethrows, and an injury-plaque team. 12-4 from the nba champions are expected while 8-10 is a bit lower than expected but definitely not 12-4 from the lakers. Not yet that is. I ain't gonna lie when I say lebron is a great player and he isn't gonna be a vince carter like the other guy said.. he will be high up there as well, but like the OP said, this is people comparing lebron in his prime vs a kobe close to retirement. Looking back at kobe's whole career, are you saying that he isn't worthy to be apart of the legends? But also to the OP, as much sh!t talking that goes on with kobe, soon, the same amount will be said towards lebron. Its natural, its competitive, its there. An come down the time from 25, 30 years from now, we are gonna look back at kobe, or lebron, or durant, and say these fools were the sh!t compared to the guys playing now..

If U hate Kobe u hate Kobe but dont say he shoot 30 times a game. That sh1t is invalid. You know why?

ALL ALPHA MALE BEST PLAYER ON THE TEAM DOES THAT.

I take a look at Le Bron lost vs Wash tonight for example.

12-24 1-4 1-3 -3 2 13 11 3 3 2 2 1 26
He shot 24 times and have 26 points.
Look at his last ten games, same with Keven Durant.

That ball hogg garbage is not a valid argument man.
