Funny thing is all you guys would not complain if he was on your team! Guys dont say anything about sheed that always whines! Kobe is best player in the league period. Media always asks stupid questions what do you expect for him to say?

I expect for him to sit straight up in his chair. To look at the reporter who answers the question and to give the standard bs answer that every pro athlete learns i.e. in Bull Durham. The fans who pay his salary and buy his fricking jersey expect and should demand this also. This is a part of his job that he should do with the same pride that he plays with. It is pretty simple. He is not a four year old but is still acting like one because he has been coddled his whole life for his ability to shoot a ball in a basket.  To expect less is to have this piece of shit behave like this because he lost a game. I EXPECT HIM TO BE A MAN NOT A BOY

yepper, and that is just the kind of thing I am talking about.  If we expect nothing we get nothing. If you want to know what he should say- read my post.  If you wanna know how a man acts watch any other sports league or read my post. You man up get up there and act like you have been there before.  You sit up straight, look at people who are talkng to you, and answer stupid monotonous questions with sincerity. You see, we pay his salary , we the public. If there was no press, their would be no Kobe. He would be hustling on a playground in Queens. We all have parts of our job that are not fun but the normal people do them with pride, because it is a job and we were raised right.

The settlement was made because she didn't get raped, she claimed rape to settle out of court to get the money, if she really was raped don't you think she would have went after him in criminal and civil court?  Everyone bashes Kobe for cheating on his wife, if I am not mistaken didn't Jordan do the same and then offer his mistresses something like $250K to keep quiet?  The things selective people forget.

My point exactly, its only the hate for Kobe and the love for MJ, it blinds everyone, I am not saying I am a laker or kobe fan, but I am sick of the blind accusations, unless you were there you have zero idea what happened.

It would be a very tough life in the aspect of everybody being constantly wanting your attention and in a time of defeat I don't care who you are ...a real competitor hates to lose...and then be asked alot of what must seem like unintelligent questions .... reporters watch the games while in play just as you or I do..... so why do you get questions ..like  for example Oh I see you didn't have your usual shooting touch was your (insert body part here) a problem?  Cut the man some slack. Basketball is just his job and he IS an ALL TIME  great NBA player.

You'll notice it's his left hand that's always poised before his mouth, showcasing his overpriced-blood-diamond purchased wedding band. I bet it's part of a contract he signed with his embarrassed wife shortly after he raped that person a few years back.

I think his arrogance(i.e. curt response to the media)hides a lack of ability to discuss issues constructively. I wonder if the player's who don't graduate or even attend college internalize the world's view of their intellectual capacity and take it personally. My intention is not to imply these player's are less articulate or mental midgets, just a suggestion as to the vulnerability of the psyche of some of the great athletes of our time. I respect his talent on the court; there have been few with his ability. But his arrogance, imo, operates as a facade and inside he's a fragile little bitch incapable of critical thought and rational discussion which leads to the fan's disappointment when he's on the microphone.

Most importantly and sadly, these guys aren't paid for their verbal insight; they are paid to wow us with their physical dominance and Kobe does just that on most nights.

Curt replies are not a symptom of arrogance or rudeness.  When an athlete with as much pride and competitiveness as Kobe loses what was a very winnable game, do you expect him to pose and smile on-cam and banter with the reporters?  He's human too, and he knows he was a big part of the letdown.  Despite the disappointment, he was still very professional, I might add.

I wouldn't. I'd rather win a title with Duncan or Wade. Kobe is a nothing but a front runner. these Kobe nuthuggers seem to forget he wanted out of LA just 2 years.

He'll throw everyone under the bus if things aren't going his way. He even ratted out Shaq when he was being accused of rape. Guy has no loyalty.

Can you imagine if he was with the Cavs? He'd throw his entire teammates under bus. He'd make Lebron's alleged "quitting" look like child's play.
