Liking the Pacers and Portland. N.O. has been trash, thank God I took GS lastnight. I always like Houston -4 and am leaning toward Sacremento at +11

I've been down this road before as well. A challenge doesn't really do anything for me because I do my research and make my plays the same way every day. I don't do this for competition...I do this to make money. If I can help someone along the way...then so be it.
But if you really want competition that badly...what did you have in mind?

New Jersey Nets +11
Already went down a 1/2 point, and I see some places at 10.5. This line might even head down below 10...so I had to jump on it early. With Delonte coming back tonight for the Celtics, they will be switching lineups in and out...resting some guys who NEED rest (Pierce/Rondo)...and basically taking this as a practice game. They know they need to finish ahead of the Heat in the final Eastern Conference standings, but the Celtics are done with the tough part of their schedule. Nets have been playing some really solid basketball of late, and should be able to contend for most of this game.
Prediction: Celtics 94 Nets 90
Risk: 1.1 to win 1

Houston Rockets -4.5
There might not be a team in the league that wants the All-Star break to come faster than the 76ers. Other than a road game against the Wolves...every game in the month of February has been against a playoff team. A home and home against the Knicks, then down to Atlanta...back home for the Magic and Spurs...back out on the road to face the Wolves, Grizzlies, and now the Rockets. They HAVE to be tired. I think we will see the Sixers go down the same road as the Bobcats last night. Competitive for the 1st half, maybe 3 quarters...and then just fade away late.
Prediction: Rockets 103 Sixers 93

Like I said in the write-ups...the Pacers showed me more in the last 3 quarters of their game last night against the Heat than they did in their winning streak. Mainly because their winning streak was against piss poor teams, and it wasn't that spectacular...but the fact that they didn't give up and fought back into that game against the 3rd best team in the league speaks volumes about their renewed effort. The Pistons are a team that they can beat, and should beat.

Simply a fade of the Hornets here. There are now talks of owners in favor of contracting the team...they lost a lost of their defensive passion when Okafor went down...Chris Paul is jealous of Bosh/LeBitch/Wade in Miami and can't wait until he has that chance...this team is a mess. The talent level is there without a doubt, but as we all know talent can only take you so far. Blazers are a very solid home team (18-7 SU 14-11 ATS) and their last two home games were wins against the Bulls and Spurs. I just don't give the Hornets much of a chance here....Aldridge could hit 40 tonight.
