I was saying I'll be back and here I am. I'll bet you've jizzing all over yourself all night at the very thought of being able to come back here and make that post. Regardless, looks like I'm going to have to eat my words. Not only did the Suns win, but they did it with some defense. I honestly felt there was no way Amare showed up tonight, and thought the only way the Suns stood a chance was to rain threes down upon LA. Backing the Lakers in the first two of the series, that's what I had been afraid of. Yet despite shooting as poorly from behind the arc as LA, they were still able to claim a victory. Gentry should go to that zone more often.
Well just remember that the public is wrong most of the time, everybody was all over LAL today, Suns was the smart play.
A series is not over until the home team loss.

You go ahead and make a habit of fading the public as your No. 1 capping strategy and see where you end up. Just because the public is on one side, it doesnt mean the other side is the "smart play." I don't regret taking LA, as I felt they were the smart play. Through the first two games of this series, Phoenix had given me no indication that they were worthy of backing.
