So I wanted to share this with everyone.

Alright if you have seen my CBB thread you know how much I love system bets and trends. I rode favorites losing at half for about 500U profit. lol. I wanted to show you this.

Luongo has come up with a system for NBA. You can see it in the sytems and strategies forum.

So this is Luongo's system:

Take NBA games.....Go over past 5 games of each team. Take the total points of each team in game scored in first half and figure average (add them up and divide by 5) Then add the two teams average. If it was under the total set for 1half then play it.

Well the system went 1-2 last night and 2-3 tonight. It is 16-9 overall. But check this out. I noticed this today. If the under does not hit then double your bet on 2half. It makes sense because if they score more than their average 1Half then they should slow down by 2Half. So here is how it played out today. If you put $100 on each system play and double down for each loss this is what you would have ended with today.

Sac/Clev 1Half Under 102 $100

Sac/Clev 2half Under 93.5 $200

Den/Orl 1Half Under 104.5 $100

Port/OKC 1Half Under 96 $100

Port/OKC 2Half Under 94 $200

Phx/Minn 1Half Under 113.5 $100

GS/LAC 1Half Under 115.5 $100

GS/LAC 2Half Under 114 $200

Final record for day!

5-3 +$500 (Vig $80)

Net Profit $420

It is a little more juice ($30 more juice) But other than the $30 it would be the same as going 5-0.

Every one that didn't hit 1Half hit 2Half. I am going to follow this until it costs me money!

I am not for sure if this system will hit everytime. Could be a coincidence but that is also what I thought about betting on favorites losing at half and taking them for 2half and I rode that money train from +130U to +785U. But then also didn't get off in time and rode it down 100U. Lol. Just pointing it out. Who knows it might hit the rest of season this way. Just something to keep an eye on.

702underdog Thanks man. It only doubles up once so if one lost out of three that needed doubled up on today we would still be ahead $100. If two lost second half then we lose money lol. But also Luongo's system alone is 16-9 so if we only have to double on the nine and hit 6 out of nine plus the profits from other 7. We should be lookin pretty good!

-Tical- I will post these plays here and see what happens. I will not be doing most of work though. I am getting plays from Luongo's system in the system and strategies forum. He is the one doing all the math. I don't want to take all credit. He came up with initial system. I just added the 2half double up. Again this is first day and could have been a coincidence that all teams that fell into system and broke the system hit for 2half but I will ride it until I lose money. And I will post so you can follow. I hope it continues!

ldub004 I do agree to make sure you have the bankroll for it because like any trend it could bite you in the ass one day. We always hope it wont but no one should have their whole account pending on any system. I do know that he plays a few overs as well. I am going to have to write him and have him break down exactly what his system is that his record is 16-9 with. I know yesterday he was on Bulls over 1Half but I didn't look at over for 2half. I will check that out here in a sec and come back. Again guys this system is very new to me as well. Today was first day so could be a coincidence. But like I say with any trend, if it makes sense roll with it until it costs you then slow your roll. Quit playing and watch and see if it picks back up. If it doesn't wait til you find the next one.

702underdog I am going to have to write him and find out exactly what makes a play a play (how many points) But I do agree that with an average of 105 probably not smart to play under 105.5.

Alright I have only posted plays for CBB this year and have not posted NBA. I have posted every day of the season. So I will be counting these system plays against my cbb record. My units are $50U. I am not good at picking sides but I have found a few trends that have done well for me.

Here is record so far.

kkoma I was also thinking of breaking down in quarters. I keep an eye on that as well.

702underdog I agree that probably more in depth looks into teams might be more profitable. I was also thinking of looking at how much they allowed opponents to score over last 5 games as well. But I agree the teams they are playing in the last 5 games could be a huge factor.

Luongo I want to thank you for coming up with system. I am going to ride it as long as I make money and do understand that it probably has its ups and downs. I definitely feel a lot less comfortable with system now that you have said this. I know you have done a lot of work and studies into the system.  After yesterday though I have to roll with it today! Even if it was luck. I will ride it out.

Alright if my figures are correct which I am pretty sure they are....These are the plays.

Tor/Cha Average: 99.2 Line set at 100..... No play

Sas/Njn Average: 97.4 Line set at 98......No play

LAL/NOH Average: 94.2 Line set at 102.....Play the under

Den/Dal Average: 99.8 Line set at 104.5.....Play the under

NYK/Utah Average: 110.2 Line set at 111......No play

So two plays today. If team loses the first half then put 2U on 2half. I am nervous of Lakers though. Even though average is low. Last three games have been high scoring but we will see how it plays out.
