I can’t get over the irony of Curry flinging around the basketball like a hot potato with the game in the balance and then getting injured by diving for a loose ball like his life depended on it…

I bet Cam's biggest regret in life is not diving on that fumble. Wearing a football helmet is disorienting. It cuts off your peripheral vision. Throws off your equilibrium a bit. It can make you feel like a the dog that can't locate the toy that's right in front of their face. Cam should've went for it. Steph did. Al Horford went for Steph's legs he rolled around on them without even going for the ball.

Now, isn’t that the truth. Nobody will believe it, but that’s exactly what happened. That’s why the Warriors were setting those hard picks tonight, sending those boys a message,

Saw it in slo mo from a couple angles. He wasn't even paying attention to the ball. He dove at his legs then, as Steph was screaming in pain, rolled up on them. That's what Udoka asked them to do. Be dirty. Fight. If you aim for the King, you better not miss.

Totally agree. If we can we win this title, I will be forever satisfied as a sports fan of a team. All the asterisks next to the their titles kill me, because I know how close this team was to immortality the year they blew that 3-1 lead. This one would shut everybody up once and for all. If these guys, 7 years removed from their first title, beat a loaded, younger, stronger, bigger Celtics team then their critics would have no leg to stand on.

@begginerboy BEST FIVE OFFENSIVE UNIT IS THE WORST FIVE DEFENSIVELY. You said this before game four. That was genius insight!!!!
Thanks, buddy. I appreciate you recognizing this. I gotta tell you, I consume hours and hours of basketball talk and analysis when my team is in the finals. I have a subscription to The Athletic. I also read everything on the free sites, including ESPN, The Ringer, SB Nation, USA Today, Sports Illustrated, and then Local Papers. I also listen to almost every NBA Podcast I can get my hands on: Bill Simmons, Zach Lowe, Ryan Rusillo, Brian Windhorst, The Ringer NBA podcast, the athletic NBA podcast, the Warriors plus NBA podcast which is one of the best, the Celtics NBA Podcasts (there are several) and not a single one of these sources have made the simple observation I made which you recognized. It is the single biggest issue in this series, and if Kerr has figured out the right combinations to play at what points during the game, the Celtics are in trouble.

I guess you haven’t been here long enough to see/witnesses one of my biggest battles with Bator, a poster I admire and respect. I would usually not hark back to such a victory because I am a humble man, except when I’m trolled by the likes of you and others.
It was Either 2017-2018 or 2018-2019 season. The Spurs were playing at Orlando. Bator created a rare thread in the NBA forum explaining his reasons for backing Orlando in this spot. It was a massive writeup, a novel, detailing every edge the Magic had in that matchup and the favorable situational spot they were in. As it turned out, I was on the Spurs and went in his thread and wrote a counter writeup explaining why he had capped the game wrong and why the Spurs would win. The Spurs won that game by more than 20 points. Now go troll somebody else, Artie. You are not as clever as you think.

When the game was practically lost. How does that make sense? Yeah, well that's all irrelevant now.
