It's no secret, take a look at the past 25 season's and you tell me. Every team that has won the past 25 season's has a respectable Head coach. Now I'm not trying to overreact to last night's loss, but it's a FACT!!!!. Look, the NBA is built on the Players, it's a Players league no doubt. When you have a three headed monster in Wade, James, and Bosh you need a voice that they respect on a basketball level and that they trust. Your eye's will trick you with this Heat team because they will pound the bottom feeders of this league, but when they face the top teams they will have trouble as they did with Boston last night. Now they'll get better as the season moves along but will it be enough???? I just can't see Erik Spoelstra taking a team to a Championship. I just don't think he can challenge these guys like a P.Jackson, Pop, L.Brown, Doc. R can. That being said, i wouldn't be surprised to see P. Riley step in at some point. I know he said he wouldn't, but his done it before and I know he doesn't want to be known for pulling off the biggest deal in history turning into the biggest bust. It's Championship or bust!!!!!! a couple more hiccups against these top tier teams and some moves will be made.
i dont think you can blame it all on the headcoach here but i do agree that Spo isnt that great... Some championship coaches only got respect as a coach after they won the title..
