Those of you who say the game was fixed didnt watch it, huh? Durant got a lot of phantom fouls called. And why daf*ck are you guys complaining about their 3point percentages and using it as a basis for the fix?do you freaking know how hard it is to shoot 3 pointers consistently when it's contested? Only 1 game in this series was fixed: game 3. All the others have been officiated fairly or close to it. Freaking dumb sh*ts

Appreciate the support and loyalty man. The last thing I want to do here is shrink people's bankrolls.

It is true I love 1's and 7's (which shows at a minimum you actually read OP's unlike the trolls here recognize the size only and come back only if it loses).

But this was a de facto Game 7 for OKC, and every game after Game 4 was and is a Game 7 to Golden State so I was comfortable capping it.

Why do folks always want to underestimate human greed and corruption?

I will never deny that the NBA prefers Game 7's so absolutely there are forces here that propel Golden State to victory on the refs side.

Having said that, it didn't affect this bet. Klay just had one of the all-time great playoff performances and the Thunder withered late. I can't pin this one on anyone but myself as a capper. Could I predict what Klay would do? No. But I am betting against the defending champs with 73 wins the greatest shooter ever and one that just played like one vs. on an OKC team that historically has done this. Was that a minute worry before the game for me? No. Because of what OKC did to San Antonio in Game 6 and because of the confidence they exhibited. But I can't say that worry couldn't come to fruition and it did unfortunately.

But your thinking in general that the NBA/refs will manipulate games in discrete or not so discrete ways to force a Game 7 always should be in the back of your mind (It was one reason why San Antonio was a -3 pt favorite last round in Game 6 which was an obscene line. Not only are the Spurs a public darling, but squares and sharps alike know the NBA wants these series to go 7 and therefore, the line moved that high.).

People in here are so funny!!
Guys, if you cannot afford to play, DONT PLAY!

You can not expect to win every game. Scal is one of the best cappers on here if not the best and will continue to post his plays and hit at a very high percentage. I do not post much, but give the guy a break, I am sure he is already upset without you bashing him. That game could of easily came in our favor. Scal keep doing your thing , you have a lot of support and fans that appreciate what you do and the write ups do show why you pick the play. I have nothing but respect for you..... Good luck and let's bounce back.

Uh no. My money isn't the main thing. Other people's money is the main thing with regard to this post. That is why I mentioned the write-up, that is, what influenced the bets of others.

This message board communicates that. That is why YOU are supposed to be here. But you just use it for slander and defamation.

And if you ever want to get married, I'd start to change that attitude.

Because I can guarantee no woman would put up with the way you act over the long-term, because your overall personality leaks over in your comments here. And it ain't pretty (and that's being kind).

KD and Russ did not do themselves any favors by talking smack (more pressure to live up to). Kerr was out-coached (again), Curry didn't have a great shooting night (though he wasn't bad), Klay came up huge, refs swallowed there whistles (as predicted) the Thunder chocked (as usual), and the Warriors gave us the NBA version of the rope-a-dope (Ali would be proud).

    BB,

    Overall you did say:

Your write up is dead on (psychologically speaking)

except for a few facts I left out.

So overall, you agreed it was more dead on than not but you had quibbles about certain points of which I did not offer retorts.

But since this game did not turn out as a winner for me, your counterpoints could very well have been the once that turned this game and a 7 pt lead with 5 minutes left for OKC, into a loss. But we need not discuss them now, I lost!

I just sat speechless seeing Klay give an all-world performance while the Thunder shot 3-23. 3-23!!!!

I said it was not the same Warriors. It wasn't. This Warrior team dealt the ace of spades from the bottom of the deck! And the Thunder folded like the most timid 2/4 limit player in the world late.

In the heat of the moment I misspoke. Sorry. I should not have said I didn't buy your argument. What I meant to say was that there were other psychological factors that undermined it or trumped it. KD and Russ put undue pressure on themselves as a result of their hubris (and could not back it up, with the weight of the franchise on their shoulders). They had 5-6 turnovers in the last few minutes. Ali saying those things is one thing, KD and Russ doing it is another. They felt like Ali at the moment they were acting like him, but wilted when everything was on the line; though there is still game 7. And yes, you could not have paid me to bet on the Warriors (and I was right as most teams in that spot lose) but I also wouldn't bet against them.

You had a great run, and should have won. I hope you'll be rooting for the Warriors from here on out. They're good guys.

Westbrook is usually the one who chokes in the biggest games on the world's biggest stage. Durant just beat him to the punch.

If u can't afford your habit then don't play. These people use their rent/bills money to gamble n wn they lose they get frustrated/angry. I enjoy too much sports betting to ever stop but I bet within my means. Can't watch a game with no bets involved. The game wouldn't be the same if u have little money on it.

Thank u for taking the time to write your thoughts on games!

Uh yes, they do. As I put my money down on other people's thread when I was a neophyte here. As I still do if I read a convincing angle.

And typically the trolls who are here to bash lost significant sums off the very pick I posted and are here to continually bash (much like yourself...no, exactly like yourself).

But no worries, continue with slander and defamation and be eternally single, because I warn you, if you don't change your attitude you will have one hell of a time finding a wife, or at least one of quality.

Or you can change your life for the better and stop being an as shole, get married and mellow out.

It's up to you kid. I've seen a million of your type. I was friends with one far worse than you and he's not in a good place right now (and hasn't been for the overwhelming majority of his life).

You want to end up like that? Continue with this attitude.

Ali is incomparable BB. We both know that. But the strong and very visible nonverbal reaction of RW and the verbal reaction of KD were more than telling in terms of extreme confidence, which is what you need at a minimum to win a game like that.

I will say I was bothered by OKC's 3 straight blowout wins at home. That's very tough to kee up late in the playoffs although for 42 minutes they did. 48 is what matters though.

Sorry BB, I'll be rooting for OKC. Not sure if I'm going to bet the game though. The overwhelming number of winners by game 7 teams at home is too ominous for a fade of GS at the moment.

Still haven't gotten to some of the other posters.

Thanks for the appreciation if offered

I get very disturbed by games where I'm very confident going in, stay confident for 42/43/44/45 minutes and then have all that collapse in 3 minutes when I guy can't miss and the inevitable choke bug bites your team precisely the worst moment.

The game came down to a few possesions,  OKC with a three point  lead under 3 minutes had  the ball on two consutive trips  Durant  choked under pressure and blew the game simple as that ,

But OKC was right there to win even with Thompson shooting off the charts

Its not about you picking a winner or a loser , it's about your posts you have all these people telling you great write up

They are long winded thoughts basically a bunch of garbage you want to be entertaining you say ?

Drawing a parallel between Ali Frazier a boxing match that happened 42 years ago and a basketball game ,  entertaining?  or silly stupid and borring .

I could care less if you pick winners or losers ,  i'm sick of reading people telling you great write up cause your material basically sucks .
