Yes I know Toronto is playing with 'triple-revenge' in this one but this team is only 5-17 ATS in 'revenge' scenarios this year. Obviously this 'revenge' factor actually favors the Bucks in this one. Either way, this Raptors squad is very short-handed (they only dressed 9 yesterday) and will be playing 2nd of a b2b, 3rd game ni 4 nights, and 5th in 7. This is a major 'fatigue' spot for them. Toronto has one game left after this one, a home contest against Miami Heat. Milwaukee is playing their 2nd consecutive home game and had a day OFF yesterday. This is the last home game of the season for the Bucks, and I expect them to play hard for their fans in this one. Against Toronto this year, this offensively-challenged Bucks squad, has averaged 104 ppg and shot over 50%. In their past 2 games prior to tonight, they've hit the century mark, shooting 48% from the field. I don't expect the offense to be a 'problem' in this one. Defensively, Milwaukee is one of the best in the league. Even so, I don't expect top 'effort' on D in this fairly meaningless game. But even an average 'effort', coupled with Toronto's 'fatigue' should be enough to contain the Raptors.
Bucks are 6-0 ATS in their last 6 against the Raptors and 8-1 ATS in their last 9 meetings. They are 5-2-1 ATS in their last 8, 5-2 ATS at home against 'mediocre' squads, and 7-3 ATS in their last 10 at home. Raptors are 5-13 ATS in their last 18 on the road, and 4-10 ATS as an underdog in this spread range. Toronto is coming off a win last night. Why is that relevant? Well, this team is 1-5 ATS in their last 6 games following a win. I expect a comfortable DD win for the Bucks in this one.
