Revenge- Celts lost at Indiana as a 7.5 point road favorite last month. Danny Granger guarenteed victory and Boston was unable to shut him up (he'll obviously be out for this one). He carried the Pacers to an upset win in a heated, physical matchup.
The Jim O'Brien factor- The Celtics organization hate this man. His tenure in Boston was horrifying. His philosophy of chuckin up 30 three's a game, abandoning the pick n' roll, and playing with no defensive swagger was terrifying to watch. The C's want to punish this man. They want to embarass his team. There is no doubt Boston plays with a killer instinct in this game
Indiana is LOST witout Danny Granger. They are in shambles. TJ Ford cannot run this offense and Earl Watson isn't the answer. Without anybody to demand a double team nor an assist man to set things up, they will struggle to score points. Garnett and Perkins are a force downlowand it will be extremely diffiult for Pacers to score in the paint.
Boston is on a mission. This team is geared for another championship run. They play with an assassinator's mentality. Celtics have the swagger to dominate. I feel like their clickin on all cylinders right now. Rondo, Allen, Pierce, Perkins, Garnett, and Sheed are on the same page. The defense is on lock down and their offense is gettin great looks and playin team ball.
