You guys must not of watched the same game I did tonight. Clippers out played the spurs..,..proving once again that they can be the better team. It's just not the spurs year this year. Hopefully clippers will prove that on Thursday. Then if and when they win, you guys will probably be 50/50 for game 7...and books made a bunch of money from you guys.

You initially claim that the LEAGUE wants the series to go further to make more money. So we are talking about the interests of the LEAGUE here. (League = NBA)
Then you claim that they don't allow this to happen because bettors will know that each series will last 7 games, which would be bad for BOOKMAKERS.
So you are saying X doesn't make it obvious, in order to save Y.
So there is an assumption that X (the NBA) is interested in the welfare of Y (the bookmakers). If so, where is the evidence? Do the bookmakers pay the NBA in order to help them out like this? Please demonstrate how this makes any sense.

Game 5 was decided by the refs, who made a laundry list of shady calls... only reason they would do that is because the NBA wants to push SA through to the next round (for whatever reason)... and if that is their goal, they can't take any chance of letting it be decided in LA for game 7...
