How can you say they mean little when every player thats won one is in the HOF or going to be. What years did Shaq not get it but should have? I know that happened to Jordan some years IMO but thats just my opinion.

No I dont, I thought Garnett deserved it in 03-04, Kobe only played in 65 games that year averaging 24, year after that Kobe played in 66 games, I thought Nash deserved it that year, I wont lie though at first I thought it was a joke until I looked deeper at the time, the 2nd year Nash won it, that was when Kobe probably should have, but thats just me looking at numbers.

they played in different era's, meaning different offense / defense. during the time of jordan, few of them were actually shooter unlike now center / forward can shoot outside. and of course without jordan or anyone else that contributed a lot in basketball, kobe and lebron would never be on their own right now. i mean, they somehow innovated and elevated the game of the era they followed.
if u say statistics would be the basis. well, have you ever thought why sports analyst never tag a player the greatest of them all? never been awarded as the Greatest player of all time?

They gave it to Karl Malone and Iverson over him, it was a joke. I know what my eyes saw and he was the best player in the league.
