Purefoods -4.5
Both teams are in a must-win type of game for a better seeding. Purefoods can get in the 3-6 placing with a win here (who ever wins in the Mer/Glob game joins the 3-6 place). What worries me here is that the Pennisi trade may have an effect to this game where the trade may have this game included in the "package" for Barako to get in a good placing. If Barako wins they ultimately see a 5th or 6th placing depending on who wins between Glob/Mer. Putting this worry aside, I think Barako loses a stretch 4/5 who can do the dirty works on both ends in Pennisi while the Hotshots practically loses nothing.
Purefoods is coming off a 2 game slide while the Energy is on a 2 game streak themselves. Again, this makes it an easy task to side the Hotshots with the bound to win/lose way of thinking.
